Jones was the least talented of all the Rolling Stones. He contributed very little to their success. Once he left the band their record sales and touring profits soared. Jones had been holding them back.

I read his girlfriend Anna Wohlin's book and she pretty much says he was murdered by a disgruntled worker on his estate. She also says when she tried to say that....the Rolling Stones management forced her on a plane back to Sweden.

Yes, but if you were watching when Alex & his Dad were to catch a train to Tashkent they met Tony & Elaine just as they were finishing booking their tickets at the railway station and I think that Alex had been made aware of a train that departed at about 05:20 the next morning and he was quite crafty and sly by the fact that he purposely didn't mention this and let T&E book a train for about 3 hours later that same morning. I, personally don't mind that but you could say that by doing it they brought about bad karma on themselves. However I have noticed that the BBC in its choice of routes for series 2 & 3 has chosen places that don't really have much in the way of rail services. I just hope that isn't being done on purpose because of what happened in series 1. By the way, I had also wanted Alex & his Dad to win series 1. They made a good pair and really endeared themselves to the UK TV audience. In Series 2 it was good to see the Uncle and his nephew bonding on their journey and a big hand to both of them for giving half of the prize money to the homeless families of Brazil.👏🤝👍 The other star couple on Series 2 were of course Rob & Jen. Although I think Jen could do most people's heads in, at times.

We watched yet another Life and Death Of Brian Jones documentary the other night. The coroner’s report states that there was FRESHWATER in his lungs, not chlorinated pool water. He was drowned in a trough in the grounds of the farm, and his body was dumped in the swimming pool. Frank Thoroughgood, or at least other people acting for him, was implicated in the fatal beating of his girlfriend, who was found in a coma, teeth missing, eyes gouged out, critically beaten up, on the nearby shoreline not long after Brian’s death. Whilst it seems clear that Frank T was a violent and abusive man, I have always thought he was too neat an explanation for Brian’s death. No builder who thinks he’s owed vast sums of money kills the only person who can pay him. It makes no sense. I also find it massively incriminating that Keylock was seen ransacking the house, burning all possible evidence, stealing Brian’s Rolls Royce and other valuable items, and was never investigated for this. His older brother was fairly high up in the police, and it seems obvious that he helped cover the murder up to protect his brother. Highly convenient that Keylock, the only person present at Frank Thoroughgood’s death, reported that Frank made a deathbed confession to murdering Brian. But whoever murdered him (and my money is on Jagger and Richards being involved in orchestrating it), he did not drown in his pool. He was drowned in the freshwater trough (for anyone who doesn’t know what a trough is, it’s a large stone or metal container that holds water for livestock - cows, horses, etc - to drink from, and it was an old stone trough at the farm, no longer used by animals for drinking from, but still there all the same, and his body was moved to the pool to make it look like an “accidental” drowning. It was NOT an accident. It was a murder. The info on the coroner’s report shows he drowned in freshwater, not chlorinated pool water.n

Brian had registered the Rolling Stones name, and it belonged to him. Without being able to use that name, it would’ve been hard, if not impossible, to continue as they were. I find it curious that Brian died 3 weeks after being sacked. Whether Jagger and Richards were in on the murder is anyone’s guess, maybe it was management that arranged it, but someone, at some point after the sacking, realised that ownership of the name was a big deal for the band as long as Brian was alive.
