This was already how I was playing, tbh but thanks for the information. As I am quite new to the game and am theoriecrafting my own opener and rotations so far
Then you had a really good insight man. I made this video because the 'Vengeful Retreat' + 'Essence Break' combo has been a staple since the beginning of dragonflight and it is costing so many people a lot of dps in M+
Hey man! Someone asked this in a comment below so I am copy pasting the answer I gave there: The model is the Elite PvP Glaive from last season and the enchant is the pvp enchant from Shadowlands season2 (unchained fury). You can achieve a similar result by using regular pvp glaive from Dragonflight Season3 or looting the glaive from Smolderon on any difficulty (recolors of the same model). The shadowlands season 1 pvp enchant (sinful flame) also creates a similar dark effect, I sadly do not have that one :(
I have often Problems with my DH. After the burst combos with Meta and all the stuff i don’t know what to do and my damage goes hardly down because everything is on cool down. Do you know what I mean?
Hey there I feel you! Generally speaking, Havoc does its damage in bursts. So between your bursts you are weak yes, you practically spam blade dance and chaos strike. You do the burst with meta. Then you do good damage again after 40 seconds when the next eye beam comes. You should use the time inbetween to plan your next burst combo while managing fury to cast blade dance on cooldown and cast as many chaos strikes as possible. It is natural for your damage to go down between bursts
@@FelFireGazeTVthanks. Sometimes it feels do hard. What i was wondering is, that no one i playing momentum anymore. Is that also possible to raise overall damage?
@@SteinarHagalsson Inertia fits too good to our bursty playstyle. If you are gonna play movement talents, Inertia is the best. Momentum is only good in pvp where you passively stack it while you get to people that kite you.
I was surprised as well that I did not realize this for sooo long. This video highlights the power of good visualization. Once I went out of my way and configured the nameplates so I could clearly see what is happening, then the problem became evident
Is it just me or are you moving kinda side to side with Fel Rush? Rather than repositioning your cam? If you are can you explain how? Thanks n new sub!
Hey man welcome to the channel! Indeed you can do a side fel rush if you cast fel rush while strafing to either right or left. I personally have bound fel rush to S (unbound backpedal), then press A + S to side fel rush to the left and S + D to side fel rush to the right. You can use any key bindings ofc I just found S to be extremely convenient for this so I am also mentioning it here.

The model is the Elite PvP Glaive from last season and the enchant is the pvp enchant from Shadowlands season2 (unchained fury). You can achieve a similar result by using regular pvp glaive from Dragonflight Season3 or looting the glaive from Smolderon on any difficulty (recolors of the same model). Hey there! Glaives are thrown passively through 'Blade Dance' + 2-set. There are only a few extra throw glaive charges that you throw here and there. There is no reason to 'maintain' soulscar. It's damage is not constant. It depends on the damage the throw glaive did, and if you hit multiple throw glaives, the damage from their soulscar applications add up. Btw I do not track soulscar, because it does not change your decision making. So you won't see it on my target frames
@FelFireGazeTV excellent explanation, just came back and do not have my two set yet, so that makes sense. Tyvm, keep up the great content. Concise, and to the point. Subbin!
stupid blizzard and their class disign, Game cant registrate that u actually there and facing at target, so u need to hold ur burst and waste a whole cast of DS or anni in ur burst window eventually, just coz u need to wait before use essb, coz that burst window is impossibly tiny. When other classes like rogues for example, just can stay still and do more dps that u jumping around like a monkey to be at least not a garbage.
It has been the go to playstyle for a while. Their cooldowns line up and it gives you Initiative for the burst combo. It is optimal to do in single target, but it creates this issue in M+ packs
This is exactly why I don't use EB. I preach not to use this spec. You cannot do more dps overall with EB. it's only effective in world first keys for tyran. Use glaive tempest to actually do dps without being miserable
Hey man I see where you coming from. But besides all its problems and besides glaive tempest doing a bit more overall, I think it's still better to play Essence Break for the priority damage. I value priority damage a lot
@@FelFireGazeTV I use meta as an Immune, When you play essence break. Thats literally now impossible to use every single time effectively without missing DPS. If you are never moving and the boss never moves then yes EB is better. If ur on NA lets do a key. Lets see if ur prio damage is better. I do not think it will be
@@Csbwhen I agree on that. Being able to meta immune on demand is the primary reason to go Glaive Tempest in dungeons that is absolutely needed. I play EU. However I am super positive that you can do more prio damage with Essence Break and more overall damage with Glaive Tempest.
