@PhlyDaily Thank you so much for speaking on this! Because just a couple of months ago I entered a process of adding a couple of suggestion post to the WT forums and entering into a conversation/ semi-argument with a suggestion moderator, getting into discussions and making posts on Reddit, and finally getting the suggestion pushed through for consideration by a senior moderator, for adding these camo nettings to the game for us to have and enjoy. I'd like to hope that my efforts were the spark that got this particular netting added. I'm hoping maybe this is a test run to see how the community likes it, because my idea was to actually have it as you say either replace or be available just like the bushes are, to be able to be purchased or also an option of it to be able to be researched as a modification. I was wanting them to be available as a one time purchase and we could apply them to any and every tank/vehicle we'd like. On my suggestion post I posted several examples of real-life netting and this one on the Leopard looks just perfect. They nailed it perfectly. I also was recommending for it to be available in several different colors for different terrains, desert and snow and woods etc. White, tan, green, brown, etc. So if enough of us make comments and likes on the forums and videos, but specifically the WT forums because the moderators are picky about where they get their discussions and recommendations from, hopefully they'll go ahead and add the camo netting as a permanent option for us to have, available for us to us on any vehicle we wish. So all please go over to the Gaijin WT forums and tell them how much you like this netting, and see if they will add this to the game instead of us only being able to use it by having to purchase this particular Leo tank. That's what the original moderator I spoke with said, before the senior moderator got involved and approved it, he said they couldn't use any references or posts from Reddit or any other platform even if there were over 3k people liking the idea that I had noted, I had to get every individual of the 3k to go the WT forum to express our liking of the camo nets. I'm not quite sure why fastening camouflage nets to tanks is such a revolutionary idea to so many. Sure, if you're from a deserty part of the US, then it doesn't make sense to have that, but here in tropical middle Europe? It sure does. It's probably also news that we usually attach custom-made, camouflaged "blankets" to the turret mantlet and the lower frontal plate. Why? Because the LFP is by design a big, square, shadowy spot, and that just might give away a position. Same goes for the mantlet (you know, those wedge-shaped things) of the 2A5 upwards - the lower side of it is always shadowy-dark and of a geometrical shape that stands out. If you really think about it, it makes sense. Trust me. While we do have thermies these days, nothing beats the eye, and the eye can be fooled. Camouflage nets are often fastened with regular, store-bought cable ties (black, preferably). You do have to get creative with exactly where to fasten them, but that's no challenge. There are enough loops, holes and gaps to do that. On an exercise, often a full cover of natural camouflage is weaved into the net and laid on top of it.
Even in the desert, a sand colored net will break up the hard lines on a man made object. (at least in terms of WT's maps, with dunes) Although, a lot of US desert is not as sand dune-rich, but far more rocky, with lots of crags, and semi-mountainous... So those hard lines _might_ actually play to its advantage 🤔 heh

I'm actually excited for this yes it's just a 2a4 but I stopped playing Germany before they added alot of the new tanks as in the leopard 1 was the top tank in the game so I'll use this to grind the new ones
I dont really like the idea of removing bushes. I only have 2 and usually dont even think to put them on a tank. And while on some tanks its just cancer on others it only seems fair. For vehicles like the m56 whoes only defense is stealth and can be so trivial to kill it seems fair for them to have some bushes. Also the idea of having to buy camo nets for individual tanks is a big no go.
Camouflage should always be to the T but should be able to get for free I think just like the unlocks once maxed you get nets and nets help you not get detected so easy
And myself being the poor player who spent all his lions on rushing research in German ground vehicles…I just enlarge the black spade decal and place it on the front and or sides of a vehicle to hide the brighter colors lol.
The hill I want to die on in War Thunder is that they implement Depleted Uranium characteristics to western armor and ammunition. It’s been years and still doesn’t exist in the game.
WT should add a premium package where the tank doesn't make any engine sound, basically not alerting the enemy at all! That'd be very useful for "pay to win"!
Well you could just use the control button toggle to just turn off and on the engine. It's already a thing under controls. Just have to bind a button for it.

Well, ok, maybe not for *_that_* reason... but I imagine they'd work for ascending your camo'd out war machine in the rain, too! lol
CAS Mains be like: "Just spawn SPAA"
Too bad Stingers in this game can't hit the broadside of a barn... from the inside
Thank you for posting your vids Phly, they bright up mine and many others day. Thank you
just shitting on them with the mig lmao! good stuff dude!
I like how Phly just spends 500 Golden Eagles on a whim just to prove a point
It won’t let me watch the video. Anyone else having difficulty?
Cudos to GNVelazquez for using the PUMA right, in the role its designed to, go with your leopard2. and it worked out :)
agree with the camo stuff, thumbs up.
I would really like if they added camo nets instead of bushes. Also itd be nice if they added the bradley and abrams tusk packages.
Heya Phly, phor my phipht vehicle request, I ask that you take out the Phrench AMX-50 Surbaissé, but there is a catch! You must *only* use HE. It should be an easy challenge, seeing as there is a 6 second reload, and the HE penetrates 39 Millimeters of Armour. Good luck, and have Phun! (Day 4)
I can not Watch your video. It says (youtube) that there is ”no current”. Verry strange🤔
This video is a very good example why i absolutely refuse to even spawn on Sands of Sinai!
A round of applause for the absolute chad in the kisarazu saving phlepas ass at 5:45
Did any one see that plane that pulled a 90 degree turn after it crashed at 17:54
I'm actually excited for this yes it's just a 2a4 but I stopped playing Germany before they added alot of the new tanks as in the leopard 1 was the top tank in the game so I'll use this to grind the new ones
Adding camo foliage should increase vehicle's br in rb.
They need to just sell camo net skins. It's gorgeous.
Virgin: I bought 5 bushes to cover my tank
Chad: My tank already has one
3 years later: *Leopard 3 with 130mm /L51 at 11.0 with APFSDS and HE ABS rounds*
K2 black panther
I dont really like the idea of removing bushes. I only have 2 and usually dont even think to put them on a tank. And while on some tanks its just cancer on others it only seems fair. For vehicles like the m56 whoes only defense is stealth and can be so trivial to kill it seems fair for them to have some bushes. Also the idea of having to buy camo nets for individual tanks is a big no go.
Camouflage should always be to the T but should be able to get for free I think just like the unlocks once maxed you get nets and nets help you not get detected so easy
Attempt 185: Loving the Unloved: Play the lovechild of a Spitfire and a Mustang. The beautiful MB5. You never made a video about this.
Day 415: Phly, I challenge you to get 8 kills in one game with the SU-5-1. This MBT/Tank Destroyer is severely underloved in your channel.
Bump
I want gaijin to get rid of all bushes in game. And in doing so, of course, refund the 500 GE to the players for each bush.
This is the way
Is it working it says no stream anyone has this issue or just me???
Video suggestion - Use the Wiesle 1a4 as an Anti Aircraft Vehicle, Tanks kills are Acceptable
Yeah cuz camo nets are definitely gonna help against thermals
The video wont load. It says “ no stream”
Tier 10 he says???? PHLY plays world of tanks confirmed.
Not to mention the new bushes that they added with this patch
also 360p gaming!
lmao that landing at the end was great
WT should add a premium package where the tank doesn't make any engine sound, basically not alerting the enemy at all! That'd be very useful for "pay to win"!
Well you could just use the control button toggle to just turn off and on the engine. It's already a thing under controls. Just have to bind a button for it.
PSA EVERYONE! The click at 2:47 is in the video, not your computer or speakers spazzing out.
Day 8: create a squad with your friends, take only PUMAS, a suitable CAS and obliterate enemy team.
That is brilliant idea get me a fucking petition and I will that shit
Are you hyped for the kf51 Panter?
0:33 No, no...it's a hot air.. xD
Now you need to add bushes to this bush tank. Because you can never have too much bush.
That PUMA just went balls to the walls haha
To keep it realistic put some green camo netting on a tan Abrams then you’ll look like 80% of the Abrams in Europe right now haha
be sure to check the french aviation tree! they added a new F1ct right after the Mirage 5, it is same as the F1c, but with better bomb load
as light tanks gets scouting, I think bushes should only be available to tank destroyers, giving them a unique identity with cover and shooting
why doesn't the video work it just says:
"No stream
Tap to retry"
That puma team play in the beginning made my day, another rare sight in wt
Yes it is an excuse to play MiG-21 and I'm happy about that! 😂
How bout some camo nets for the tomcat. It might conceal some of the dorito. Who knows. It might hide the heat signature
I think they should add camo nets but keep the bushes that don’t look as bad as the Palmzweig leavs. Those real buschi ones
Try #6: @PhlyDaily I've found a gem that you are looking for, the ZT3A2 Missile bus. BUT its at the wrong B.R.
Believe me, take it into 11.3 and with the triple 1000mm pen tandem warhead missile, with third gen thermals and great speed, you can delete anything in your way.
Its a case of, right vehicle, wrong B.R.
