you and me are literally the same aha! I always make a list, and if it weren't for my booktube, I would never stick to it. I'll make a TBR, and then all these released or highly rated books come out and I want to read those instead! I've read Anything you Do Say by Gillian, but I never heard of this one! I genuinely really enjoyed her writing in that one, but I don't remember what I rated it off the top of my head anymore. On another note, I've never read anything by Fredrick Backman! I've been really wanting to read the Beartown series, but have been putting it off. I'm glad you enjoyed Us Against You! Great video :) x
omg so glad we're both in the "oops I forgot about my tbr" club haha because why am I literally thinking about making a new tbr right now when I haven't finished any of the other ones I have made 🙃 I discovered Gillian McAllister through Wrong Place Wrong Time and haven't checked out any of her books published before that. I think now that I also really enjoyed her newest release I should start looking into her backlist though. You should definitely read some Fredrik Backman, I absolutely adore his writing! Beartown is great but does cover some pretty heavy topics so I would just be sure to check trigger warnings and also be prepared to read a book that will make you cry before you get into it
