Interesting. All of our APs are locked in a ceiling drop in, with the front sticking out.

My parents house lights in the kitchen are also socketed where you can just give a firm pull to remove the light but instead of horizontal its verticle

27:05 For a school built in 2015, it bothers me that it still uses fluorescent lighting. I hope you can upgrade to led at some point for reliability and efficiency.

All of the classrooms and the entire addition is LED but as far as the LED in the original section they have been nothing but problems having to replace entire fixture all the time honestly glad they didn't use that in the hallways. LED is great when it works it's not much more efficient, fluorescent is already quite efficient the advantage is reliability if it actually is which sometimes it isn't at all dependent on the fixture

At least your school doesn't have Simplex TrueAlert AVs and TrueAlarm smoke detectors! Or should I say, "FalseAlert" and "FalseAlarm"?
