I think my basil plant Jeffery actually has gained the ability to kill mosquitoes, I found a struggling small half dead looking mosquito stumbling under the amazing greatness of my blue basil plant Jeffery ELES Rico, that's impressive, it's like blue basil is now it's very own divine element of bio structure that actually can lure in and destroy mosquitos!

I just got a rosy boa and stuck a heating pad underneath the terrarium on one side. Should I use a thermo gun and point it at the top surface of the substrate, or should I put a probe underneath the substrate where it likes to burrow? Not sure where exactly to measure the temp.

you would want to measure the heat at the most concentrated point your animal could reach, so it sounds like that would be the very bottom of the tank, under the substrate
