I like that Xiaomi is very humble with the pro and basic version of this. Not a huge gap both in performance and price. Makes me think that they give themselves some room for their future development if you get what I mean
The moment I saw the sticky note on the back of both devices I instantly liked the video and subs the channel...Small but it shows the creator's genuine effort toward their work and its audience.
Solid comparison which will be helping to chose a lot of folks which one to pick up. Considering the very small price difference, I think the Pro version is the one I'll go for.

Yep, it's still the China version, and the global one I think is gonna come out a few weeks from now. However, like with most tech stuff, the global version usually cost significantly more than the 'local' price.

All im worrying about is sound quality between this two. All you mentioned the PRO has a better surround, and std model is louder. But what about overall richness of a sound, dialogue voices and lower end especially at one volume level between this too? is there any difference in that regard ? If She doesnt require low latency, Its not that hard, just buy for her Chromecast And Its basically, same just with bigger latency.

it's good for hdr content but loses in terms of texts, the text on mi pad is sharper.
