@michaellawrence9805 I was but after seeing this video I'm gonna assume they are all going to be broken like that.... so I glued it back together with model glue and it looks perfect

Top Speed does pretty much all sport car racing models. Not Lionel affiliated. Far better detail than Lionel but inherently with more custom printed detail comes more fragility. I personally prefer the 1:18 scale as well.
This isn't a diecast, it's resin. The car didn't race in any other events because it wasn't legal. Garage 56 allows non-legal cars of experimental nature to participate at Le Mans, but there aren't provisions for that at Daytona/Sebring.
The Top Speed models are still a die-cast metal base. They just call them resin because of the custom resin pieces they use for all the aero bits and headlights, etc. So kind of a hybrid die-cast.
Top Speed 1/18 scale are generally best in class like Spark If you are familiar with the TSM (True Scale Miniatures), Top Speed is their 1/18 scale offering ( Mini GT is their 1/64 product). Your car is not a Nascar offering. Top speed, TSM and Mini GT do not make Nascar race cars, thank God. Like you I have about old Nascar cars from the late 1990s and early 2000s and gave 20 years to Nascar, regrettably. The Nascar cars in those days were 1/24 and 1/64. Today's offerings are crap. I have only (4) 1/18 scale cars. The (2) Spark F1 cars both arrived damaged. The (1) IXO was a Porsche 911 RSR, cheap and as good as IXO gets. The last is an Auto Art Corvette C7 and was a nightmare to remove from the crappy packaging. I broke one of the mirrors doing so. My advice is don't collect 1/18 scale of any brand even, Spark. I attend a lot of Sports Car racing and Top Speed has the exclusive 1/18 contract with IMSA. I have a dozen pictures of your real-life car at IMSA races as IMSA is largely owned by the France Family. I suspect that is why Top Speed produced your car. The Top Speed models that I have seen at the races are excellent and ungodly expensive. Another reason I don't collect 1/18. Your car competed as a Garage 56 entry at Le Mans, competing with nothing really. Just finishing with pace compared to the GT3 entries was the idea. This car was more of a highly modified GT3 race car with none of the restrictions. That is one of the reasons I hate the car and what to keep Nascar as far as I can from Sports Car racing. It's a damn shame about your car. My broken cars were all compensated by the sellers as they have insurance. But not without some pushback. The experience has turned me off 1/18 scale cars and I will not be collecting anymore. Merry Christmas.
Mine was broken the exact same way
Are you going to send it back and tell the company what happened?

The race version isnt realistic. Just dirty rubber. No side tire mark or the nose tape
