Anyway you are allowed to raise hands for dua if it is not attached to any act of worship, like if you are about to take an exam and you raise both of your hands to do dua for Allah to bless you and make your exam easy and you get good grades, this is just general dua and it is allowed AFAIK, CMIIW. And Allah knows best.

I have recently prayed maghrib in a mosque and the imam started making dua (im assuming raising hands as well) on the third rakah of fardh salah. I have never seen or heard of such a thing so i just repeated the salah on my own. If anyone knows anything about this then please explain to me here. Hopefully the sheikh will see this comment as well.
I think this is called qunut, the sheikh answered a question where the same thing happened but during fajr prayer. Look up the subject of "qunut" in this channel you can find his anwer then. Hope this helps 🙏

Not saying its haram or halal, but do you need social media to seek knoweldge? Ive seen people use the same logic when on TiKTok as well. Similarly, social media can have alot of misinformation and fitnah as well, due to the invasive ads and 'suggested' posts. I remind myself and others to tread carefully on social media and seek other more legit sources for knowledge.

The last sujud before you say salam then you can make any doa. You make doa the same way like Jesus put his head on the ground. You can even asked Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in your own language since most of us are not really good in Arabic.

Obviously you can. That literally is a place for dua. Muhammad ﷺ even taught us many dua after salutations. That's better if you can memorize them if not make whatever dua you want

I raise my hands after only tahajjud prayer because that time of the night is a blessed time, so is that okay?
bro you can make dua anytime, you never know when Allah will accept it, some specified times are best but don't stop making dua anytime just bcz some dude say only a fool would make dua at that time. Except a specific time that Prophet pbuh say not to make dua
@@sanaanimtiaz3897 I make sure to make dua every time, it's just after every Salah for me is convenient before I go and do my work, I make dua in random times as well, it's just after every Salah I'm always reminded of what I want to make dua for while other times I'm usually distracted, that's why I'm not sure if what I'm doing is wrong or not
The prophet PBUH didn't say we shouldn't make dua after Salah right? It's a habit of mine not by the intention that's it's blessed or more effective, it's just convenient for me

What do the honourable scholars of Islam say regarding the following: if someone applies beauty cream containing an impure ingredient, such as alcohol, will their Salah be valid?
Consume of alcohol is restrained by Quraan not say haraam.
Restrained other than medicinal purpose to be avoided. I think We use perfume and sanitizer it not haraam.

There are supplications from sunnah to read after fard salah so how can the sheikh say you can't make habit of it? Fard salah is one of the best things a person can do and praying after a good deed is recommended. Also not everyone can ask Allah in sujood as they can't speak Arabic. And finally nobody says makinv dua is fard after salah so how can it be a Innovation.
I think seikh is not talking about the tasbeeh we read after fard salah he's talking about the raising of hands after every fard salah.

Yeah its very dumb and foolish to ask Allah when there's no specification that after salat your dua is accepted yet as the hadees mentioned by sheikh a person is closest to Allah during sujood so I'll seclude myself in a room and pray two rakas and in the sujood (mostly tahajjud) I'll cry to Allah about my needs rather than raising hands and showing off to people and just saying ameen to a dua i don't even know the meaning of

@@GreaterAfghanistanMovement not being arrogant but if you think a little it's kinda foolish to call someone from whom you need something and after the conversation has ended ask them for it like why ask from a distance when you can be closer with Allah (SWT) during sujood and that too not your own dua but the one the the imam asks whose meaning most of the people do not know. It is understandable that when you finish your salat you feel close to Allah SWT so asking something is normal but making it a ritual by doing it in congregation and glaring at the people who leave as soon as salat ends.
@@abdulrahman59232 Is this an opinion or a fact? I need sources brother. When we pray, we are prostrating to Allah so we are in the state of being close to our lord when reciting his words. You can't just make dua for yourself during salah when your doing salah to worship Allah. There is a variance of opinions of dua can be made in sujood or not with some saying you need to do it in Arabic than in another language. The whole point of prayer is to get close to Allah and when you are done, you can make your own dua in your own language.

Sorry but i massively disagree. We are allowed to make dua after every prayer because Allah wants us to ask things from him and foreignness.
That is why it is best to make dua during sujood, refer to 2:00
@@TheBudgetTraveller786 There is a variance of opinion when it comes to making prayer in sujood. Some Scholars have said it needs to be in Arabic or its not valid, while others say you can make it in your own language but you can only ask for forgiveness from your sins.
I have never ever heard that making dua after salah is biddhah. That is news to me.

This is an example of overfitting in religion. It is too narrow interpretation based on examples. For counter example: Why does the sheikh make habit of offering professional consulting with such rate for religion or dawah? Is this ever done by prophet or shahabah? What about habit of wearing wristwatch while doing counseling or dawah?
