This was MY first impressions with the lens and what I thought about it. I didn't talk specs as there are hundreds of videos discussing the same things about it. Figured I would branch away from that and share a different side to the lens. Which is true, you feel good with this beast. That "how cool you are" energy you feel will fuel into your performance of photographing. Gear isn't everything but you standing on the sidelines with this vs a 70-200 or anything else will get people talking about you. That talk will leach into business growth. Which is certainly has for my business. It's things people don't necessarily think of when purchasing something like this.
You gotta do what you gotta do!😅 and it’s one awesome lens. I’m finally dusting it off after sitting throughout the winter sports. Only one softball game under its belt so far. Love the results I’m getting with it!
I haven’t tried that one out yet but have heard good things about it. I think the versatility of it would be great for a lot of bright light, daytime sports. However, it would struggle at night time with the lack of f2.8. So, my ISO would need to be cranked up big time. Plus, the stadiums around my area have terrible lighting. There’s only one school out of the 15 I’ve been to that has sustainable lighting. So, that’s something to factor in if you’re deciding what to buy.

Did u get to try the 100-400 gm and if so your thoughts vs the 400mm
