John: Thanks so so much for your videos. You have save me more than once. The starter on the MGA was the answer I needed. Bad ground to the engine block. Unfortunately I had just removed, and reinstalled the air pump & alternator. Nothing like doing the job two or three times. Keep up the good work. Bill

John, you have so many excellent videos. I've watched most of them. Back in the early days, the video quality was not so good. I see you have re-done some of them, please continue to re-shoot them. These are invaluable for our hobby.

Very interesting, I would offer a couple one other comment re the disconnect aspect.
We travel a fair amount and I have found that disconnecting the battery preserves the battery so when we come home the battery hasn’t died. And incidentally when I reconnect the battery I don’t set the clock. I actually remove the fuse and wait until the time matches the clock then I reinstall the fuse. Not that I’m neurotic about the clock mechanism breaking or anything! 😂

What timing. I replaced the battery cables in my B yesterday. The clamps under the car were tough- especially the big one with 55 year old rubber that was hard as a rock.

I use that battery shut off knob in my midget, plenty of room.

No John, you crimp them. Don’t use solder. That’s very bad advice. You need a big honkin crimp tool.
