When i play mid and ping my bot quadrilion times because enemy mid and jungle is coming right to them in snails pace and they still get caught when they hard more than enough time to back off
a nice tip i abuse when smurfing on a new account is freezing lvl 4-5 holding till 5 and a half or so. turning it into a slowpush and then walking around bushes with a tiny amount of xp needed for 6. then with 6 advantage i can easily force flash or get a kill.
thank you for the great content. Top lane is really frustrating sometimes you win your lane you freeze the ennemy, yet your jungler keep forcing play bot mid when they are clearly losing. If only they could remove catch up exp freezing would be so much more worth and bad laners that afk roam would not be as rewarded. Also I'de say you break the freeze if you wanna reset also, I see so many people that freeze when they have an item power spykes, sometimes recalling and spending gold is the play xd.
Depends on the game/champs mate. But most of the time your options include soaking XP in bushes and waiting for help, dying to crash (champ dependant) and unironically waiting for the enemy to mess up the freeze - this sounds dumb but 99% of the playerbase can't maintain freezes. To say more I'd need to see the game.
@@drew1578 How much gold you give when you die + how much xp you lose vs how much gold you lose for the freeze (depends how long it is held) - very often it isn't worth it, if you were to just soak xp in bushes that's often a better strategy. But PLEASE look into why you are frozen on with a disadvantage in the first place. Top lane is a lot about looking back at previous mistakes which set up bad situations.
You can bait a trade so the enemy minions hit your minions while your minions hit the enemy laner. Other then that, you just can't. One option though is to proxy the wave if they freeze.
great analysis and lesson, content could be way better but I'm sure you know this already and will get better over time! Thank you for uploading this content :)
In my opinion after Garen appears is easy for you to break the freeze and crash the wave with renek for a free back and close if not complete your mythic item saving tp, you have ignite, lee probably use R to kill ziggs or kayn, you have R, dont know about R garen, but you can actually 2 vs 1 in that state.
No, he was right. You gaining 120g while enemy gains 0g = 120g difference. It confused me for a moment, but I thought about it like this: if enemy was farming that wave, he would also get 120g which is a 0g difference.
@@thebreadscare ahhh you are right. Starting from the point of both people farming the wave and it being a net 0, it would only be a 120g difference when one is not farming. I find this to be a less compelling argument then though. 120g is not much. The exp is a much bigger factor than gold if it's only 120g per wave.
@@burritogod59 maybe a little less compelling but if the enemy wastes enough time you get a lot for little effort. And if they come back then you have all the advantages of maintaining that freeze (they have to be vulnerable if they want to farm)
Been playing for years. Never learned how to freeze. The game really does a poor job of teaching you it's mechanics. If only there were a good tutorial built in
It's always amazing when you tell people that the top is roaming mid and then you watch the roam work 10 sec later
happened today to me. truly hilarious.

@@tomekl3476It's like they don't believe it will happen or want a visual confirmation, but, usually, past that point it is already too late.
ok but if I press q on the minions I get big dopamine hit so why would I freeze?
True it is very fun to see lots shiny coins appear
LOL this is me everytime. Us guys who live off dopamine cannot freeze
You have a big argument
4:40 yeah this moment when us all top laners realize what happened on the other side of the map tho lol
Great analysis and good job immediately fixing accidents! Keep it up, your vids are super helpful
This makes a lot of sense, thank you
You did nothing wrong here, unlucky team. This is what makes me appreciate games like TFT more. Everyone plays for themselves
You might like the game starcraft 2 then. You should try it out!
We do a little editing
Great Analysis!
It will be great if you could share the whole game with your insights/analysis ❤
gud vid thyvm choach

what do I do when my jungler is botside and enemy is freezing while having advantage on me?

@@EragonUK how can you tell if dying to crash a wave is worth it? Would it be worth it on irelia?

No first strike Renekton detected. Opinion rejected
1st strike renekton is trash. PTA is by far the best for dmg

Ziggs is likely to die to Lee + Vel even if Garen is not there
plot twist, garen was afk

*meanwhile me in silver*
Me: "bro where tf is garen? I didnt seen him in the minimap for like 2 minutes"
Garen: *AFK in base*
Technically your editing self is right and they don't lose gold, but they do miss out on gold making it a 240g difference.
