The two lanes actually works guys promise.
Holy shit ive never seen anyone talk about transferring push to mid to guarantee sidelane pressure, this is eye opening fr. Great video as always!
Stumbled upon this video while queueing for my final game to get into plat, got half way through and it already taught me something huge. Used it in my game, carried so hard! Gonna finish it now!
What the hell this sounds so smart. There's times where I just wander around because I have no idea what to do/where to go, but keeping an eye on waves is a great idea.
i love it when this guy post
Fantastic video! Thank you
I'm a master EUW player that mainly plays splitpush champs and I am surprised with how much I learned in this video, thank you!
Fantastic video. As a newer, lower-elo player, I've often been torn between split-pushing and team-grouping, and this video helps to understand how to get the best of both. Super helpful :)
I really liked the info on tempo lines. I tried to be mindful of this in my last few games and I feel like I was in the right place at the right time more often and more naturally.
This is the advanced stuff ive been looking for thank you for making this content free
thanks for that video! now i can apply those tips to my adc :) especially temper lines and rotating side lanes to mid
Very nice! New concepts for me, thank you.
Love this guy explains everything in away I understand keep it up mate!
Id like to see this explained but with Yorick and Illaoi. One requires a zone setup to be useful and excels in 1v2/3 situations, making going to other lanes more difficult and the other can just split push(multiple lanes if wanted)without even being present.
If you don't have scapes, use fog of war and mini map.
Illaoi does not need her zone. If you got ult you can roam. If not you push side lane, ward, and track.
Yorick no strat is needed. Most mindless pusher in the game. Either the enemy team responds to you (run) or they don't (smash towers).
Finally somebody explaining how to split push properly. Thanks
5:41 Nami dies mid before riven has a chance to get to there and her roam would be for nothing since they cant gain any prio 2v2 or even 2v3 when enemy team comes mid aswell. But yes, the raom on the next wave would be good if she skipped scuttle.
🎯 Key points for quick navigation:
[02:53] Split pushing doesn't mean mindlessly pushing a lane. Look for opportunities to transfer your push to mid lane for wave manipulation and lane priority.
[03:06] Apply wave manipulation (lane shoving) in top lane then move to mid to shove the minion wave that arrives first. This sets up a bounce back to top lane to continue the split push.
[04:02] ⏱️ Use "tempo lines" to understand your relative position to teammates. Being on the same line means playing together. Split pushers pushing far ahead create their own tempo line, risking being caught alone.
[05:26] flank maneuver ️ Splitpushing with good side lane macro allows for flanking the enemy team during mid lane team fights, making them more winnable for your team.
[05:40] ⏱️ After forcing out enemy teleport (TP) with split pushing, shove the minion wave and use wave manipulation to transfer pressure to mid lane.
[05:52] Use "tempo lines" to avoid being on a far higher tempo line than teammates. Fold into mid lane to prevent this and enable your team to push their tempo lines further.
[06:19] flank maneuver & vision control ward ️ When folding into mid lane to flank, consider swapping your trinket to a sweeper to ensure a safe flank by clearing enemy vision.
[07:14] zwe lane push Split pushing doesn't always mean using three lanes. In some situations, a two-lane push with your team is the better option, especially during Baron setups to siege the enemy base.
[07:57] Two-lane push Especially when far ahead, a two-lane push with your team is a safer option to siege the enemy base, minimizing throws.
[08:39] Two-lane push & vision control ward When using a two-lane push, prioritize controlling the jungle between the two lanes. Having vision control helps with quick responses to threats.
[09:08] Two-lane push vs Three-lane push ❌ Three-lane pushes during a siege create more room for error and confusion among teammates. It overextends your team and makes it harder to support each other.
[09:48] Two-lane push & Teleport When split pushing during a siege with a two-lane setup, consider using Teleport to quickly join your team if needed.
[11:00] Two-lane push Safer and easier to coordinate a two-lane push, especially when ahead and looking to close out the game cleanly. This minimizes risk and confusion.

I love the info in this one, learned a lot, thank you
Vayne pushing mid solo with no vision dies. "we allowed our midlaner to die" how is that our fault..
This video makes so much sense. I tend to stomp my top lane as volibear but cant quite figure out how to use the advantage to win for my team (voli isnt a great solo carry that can just ult and 1v5, strong but nit that strong)
After this video I have a better idea what todo, great stuff that makes allot of sence.
i definitely recognize what foggedftw2 do most of the time. thank you for this videos, delightful and educative ❤
Great content. Very succinct info.
Split pushing always gives my team a great oppertunity to run it down mid 4v5 and die for no reason
Friendly reminder, this only works in higher elos since they'll be alive to recieve your help and didn't already run head first into the other team
Illaoi main here. I side push the lane to watch my team running in circles in our own jungle.
Side push for team to get baron. They get it. Immediately, jungler back to farming camps.
great simple advice
I love the free tips you give in your videos. May have to get your Patreon or Coaching to really climb ranks.
I don't know if I agree with your last example hey. 2 enemies went for Akali and 2 went for Aatrox and actually chased him all the way to blue tier 1! In other words, Draven+Tal+Ali had a free 1v3 mid tower to take. Paired with the fact that Akali & Aatrox could still survive or even get a one-for-one kill. So the fault here was not the split pushers, the fault was on the 3 man mid not doing anything with their advantage. It was also Akali's fault for pushing her tempo line too far forward. Aatrox played a perfect setup here in my opinion.
That said, awesome video and my first introduction to "tempo lines". That's some golden knowledge right there!!!
I totally agree, but aatrox still misplayed that hard. like he literally saw talon pathing straight for him.
Ward >>>> sweeper for splitpushing champs. Yeah flanks are cool and all, but generally a numbers advantage just wins anyways, and the point of splitpushing is to force a numbers advantage, not by rotating quicker, but by raw dog winning 1vX's. Warding is defensive with the purpose of keeping yourself alive as long as possible, your job is to draw their numbers as long as possible.
That being said, the notion of tempo lines is a pretty cool concept yeah.
What about hovering mid first and then going to side?
For example, me as a mid, I recall -> hover mid to give push to allied team -> then go side with teammates' help.
But from what I understood in this video you mostly speak about already being on side and then going on mid, but how do you get on side safely in the first place?
What you said is perfect I just can't cover every scenario otherwise it becomes confusing :)
tried this and got caught in fog of war.
just look how dark it is at 6:00. I'm like 95% positive you need more vision information before doing this.
ok, this is actually the first time i heard this on a splitpushing video. zamn.
This is what im doing wrong. Thank you.
you used "room for error" in both ways (can/can't make a mistake)
Ok I'll admit, this is a huge error I almost always do. I don't get caught often, but usually can't progress much on the top T2 tower since enemies show up quickly
Interesting that you recommend 2-lane Baron setup. Skillcapped recommend 3 way because it's much more efficient push and enemies just don't have enough resources to combat 3 pushing lanes. I feel going for 2 lanes makes sense only if enemies can rotate faster and have more mobile or engage type composition.
Going 3 lanes generally makes easier to respond pressure, as each enemy player has to match your team. Maybe if you have 2 good sidelaners/duelists with kill pressure on enemy team it can work. But working on 2 lanes allows many comps to be able to teamfight better and also is less risky. 1-3-1 tends to be pick-potential for enemy team. Overall, I think it's better to play on 2 lanes with 1 lane either slowpushing or at least not close to towers.
@@Davidzinuhaha You play 1-3-1 but don't commit to any fights. 3v3 shouldn't engage and 1v1s will be slowly autowinning though power of minions alone. You may not be able to dive the opponent with Baron minions but they will destroy the tower sonner or later.
@@Xeverous Ah, I didn't undertstood that you meant after a baron. Yeah, it's good to 1-3-1 after baron to completely pressure, but also I think that after crashing a wave it should reset to 1-4-0, 4-1-0, 0-1-4 (depending on what lane you want to pressure). If you still 1-3-1, against good enemy wave clear even with baron the tower may not fall. Considering that after a baron the team backs, so the full timer of baron is not used.
The point he made for 0-4-1 or 0-3-2 or in between, is that it decreases the chance for a big mistake. Also take into consideration draft. I would be confortable with 1-4-0 because i main Camille and have escapes and 2v1 potential.
3 might be more efficient/optimal, but when you are far ahead like he described, you don't need efficiency to close out the game, you need safety. Something far too few people understand.
In the first clip enemy was spotted with two wards but vayne kept pushing with small wave and having a bounty. Ofc top laners prefer to solo carry.
Is there any resources that teaches how macro with a split pushing teammate? I want to support my top laner when they are fed and want to split push, but don't really know how.
in a two lane setup does top or mid share gold/exp with adc midlane or does mid and toplaners go to same side lane and share gold/exp as they push? who does what?
does 2 lane set up mean mid and another lane? or also top and bottom? is there just more room for getting caught if the pushes are split between top and bot? does it depend on if mid tier 2 is still standing?
Usually mid and a side lane
how do you zoom out so far in the replay?
Ctrl + Shift + Z + Scrollwheel
@@CoachRogue thanks!
This situation always happens when the mid laner wants to split push and be the solo laner. Aatrox was in the wrong yes, but without knowing these basic macro fundamentals if akali had grouped mid aatrox would have gravitated towards top. its basic both solo lanes wanting to be the split hero
The number of times I will encounter people who have watched this video in the next year: 0-5 games. Seriously, why is it always a Draven trying to split push top without TP while I'm splitting bot with TP up. Also, in this situation, is it my fault for not grouping with the team when Draven *should* be the one grouping?
You are overcomplicating. Start game, rush Hullbreaker, push till you die, respawn, repeat.
Crazy that's the only thing working for my rn
1:39
Didnt they speed up sidesaved a while ago to make it so they arrive at the same time or did that get patched out again?
That's only until 14 min. If you listen carefully, he even specifically mentions it.
@@ZeekCannon must have overheared that mb
@jamalsonicova2509 yeah he mentioned it in passing so it was easy to miss
Baus would disagree
Most people don't play like baus
Baufss actually dies on purpose with good timers and stuff tho
Baron = Lost xD
Im sorry but i just cant understand this. @3:45
Your telling me its riven's job to, after killing somebody on her own side and pushes the wave out needs to sack her pressure and come cover the vayne mid.
Shaco is right there clearing chickens, why is he clearing chickens/red instead of pathing to shadow/siege with vayne? If they come for riven, they get mid free, if they go for vayne, he gets top for free... we wont even talk about the ori going bot to catch the inevitable push back...
So because 2 of your teammates dont do their job, you need to preemptively rotate and do their job while sacking your tempo/pressure?
Sounds stupid and the people at fault are shaco and ori, who should just be mid to SPLIT the enemy team into making their choice to defend a t1 or t2.
The way I saw it, he was giving good rules of thumb that YOU can follow every game, regardless of what your team does, and will help improve your chances to win. Who tf cares about some random Shaco and Ori and what they should be doing? If you know what they should be doing and use pings to mind control them, good on you, but that's not what this vid is about.
He's saying that because vayne and riven are on different tempo lines, one of them can get collapsed on, so it's better to play on the Vayne's line.
Maybe its easier to play 2 lanes with nash in your example , but its definitly not the right play at all.
Even if Aatrox is in Mid , Sup and Jg could still be off sync u dont know that for a fact , and if they just stick to top side and let aatrox play 1/2/3 v1 they will always come out ahead.
Even if Aatrox dies.
Correct play is to go bot for a fact since enemies dont have any hard engage except blitzcrank flash hook , which akali should never get hit from (F up)
Obv. its easier to execute the 1/4 split but its not optimal , not at all and especially not against that enemy teamcomp.
Splitpushing needs to be deleted from the game. its the most bs strat that allows garbage players to win cuz of busted picks like trundle.
