OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE S Z! There are SO many fantastic and creative BB references in this cinematic and I really want to point them out and give my reactions to it so here it goes (maybe pin this too? 😆) may have to be done in parts: First off I LOVE how you portrayed the Research Hall taking shots in various places in Volcano Manor. I never would’ve thought about it before but this really is the absolute perfect place to recreate the Research Hall and the horrid atrocities within it. Not to mention the Albanurics are reminiscent of the test subjects too! ALSO the room with all the pots and the beds in Shadow Keep was PERFECT and I was honestly stunned how similar it was to the Research Hall in BB 😱 Genuinely the shots here are SO peak and capture the BB atmosphere in ER so well. Another very creative thing I was showcasing Godwyn’s corpse as Kos’s Mother 😱 I am 100% certain this is what you were going for as they have very similar looks and it was the first thing I thought of! Then we have one of the best sections, the absolute CINEMA edits and transitions as usual 😎 but another thing I noticed was your choice of bosses are all very thematic! Elden Beast and Astel represent the cosmic outer gods that would be reminiscent to BB’s own. Heck even Mohg with his relation to Formless Mother fits this too, though I imagine the real inspiration was because of his association with blood 😆 the regal ancestor spirit and ESPECIALLY Maliketh are fantastic uses for showing off the beast fights in BB too! And of course we can’t forget the Orphan of Kos Putrescent Knight (Part 2 reply of this coming next)
(Part 2) Next up the dialogue from those talking about Maria makes the cinematic much more immersive too! I love the shot of the ocean that is meant to represent Kos’s arena and the ocean and by extension, the Fishing Hamlet, absolutely fantastic Another really chilling touch was Lady Maria continuously seppkuing herself while the research test subjects were talking. I imagine this is to represent the guilt Lady Maria has for what took place in the Research Hall as we know she felt pretty guilty about everything that went on there And finally after the very well played and stylish Orphan fight THE ENDING! The Age of Dusk ending I think plays into BB’s atmosphere very well because of the fog, almost like a dream…a hunters dream if you will 😉 and Maria sitting on the throne…JUST LIKE AT THE CLOCK TOWER! An absolutely peak ending to a peak cinematic video I think these are all the major things but there’s probably smaller ones I missed too. I couldn’t help myself but to point everything out as I was watching so I hope you (and others if they read this) enjoy my analysis! 😊
@@Creative_Flame9170 wow you dug so so deep into all of the symbolism of what I was going for! Thank you so much for taking the time to break it down so thoroughly and elegantly, it took a lot of planning to figure out the sequence of shots and it paid off if you were able to understand it so clearly! And yes, the bosses I choose for compilations are supposed to be thematic so I’m also very glad you noticed them! This was a very editing intense video and the most narrative I’ve made so again thanks for writing not one but TWO comments that examined everything!
@@zs345 Of course! 🤗 I really really like and appreciate the time and effort it takes you to make these cinematic videos and I know you intentionally add in lots of references and even some Easter eggs here and there. And while I’m sure many people notice them (even if they don’t comment them) I wanted to show how much I noticed by leaving comments instead of just saying “I liked all of the creative references you put in!l (and nothing wrong with that either ofc) plus most of all, it’s just fun to be able to write it out 🥹
My two favorite bosses in Bloodborne in one video? Im in dreams, the cosplay for maria and the putrescent knight is already looking like orphan is on point as always and all of the video is beautiful ❤️ thank you for your hard work i just saw your behind the scenes post and its looks very hard to perform in game so yeah i hope you having a good day and again thank you for your dedication ❤
Oh you like Orphan as well? I found him very aggressive and hard to read whereas I loved the flow of Lady Maria's fight. The lore surrounding the both of them is so cool and I do love the Lovecraftian elements in Orphan of Kos, they're such a freaky being. I'm glad you like the video, it did take me a long time to make and plan for so thank you for the kind words! Haha, there's a lot of "insight" required to structure these videos!
Third comment separate from the cinematic analysis one I made: that Orphan of Kos fight was PEAK! Such clean punishes, jumps and very calculated and stylish use of so many different weapons, Ashes of War and spells too! Once again it’s clear to see you put a lot of time into practicing this fight and it really paid off! Huge Gg’s on this fight 😊
Thank you! I definitely know his fight better now. He’s quite jump able but the constant moving does make it inconsistent especially when he is so aggressive with his combinations.
I’ve been looking forward to this one ever since you mentioned it. Beautiful work and passion on those shots, that effort was well-rewarded to be sure. As always I find it very entertaining how you use Elden Ring locations and characters to simulate other settings. And oh my, Lady Maria looks so pretty in that red dancer's dress. 😊
@@DG_Emperor aw I’m really happy that you found this one Emp and flattered that you were looking forward to it! It feels only right after you helped me get the incant and also that I first witnessed the magnificent that was Lady Maria with you 🤗🤗! Thank you so much for the kind words, it means a lot that you notice the shot composition and the parallels I try to make since they took so much effort. SHE DOES!! It really suits her pale hair and skin!!
@@koro3586 Sadly....St. Trina has bloomed in greener pastures as I had defeated Miquella and fulfilled her one wish...I can tell by your pfp, she is a really intriguing character! I wish we could've gotten more lore on her!
Masterpiece cinematic and clean fight! Glad you did it for another of greatest Ladies in From Software's games! Congrats!😄 Before watching the actual fight, I was wondering if you added screams of Orphan, but I guess these would've sounded a bit out of place, so it's probably better how it is now.😅
Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words 🤗! I think Lady Maria is one of my favorite bosses from Bloodborne as I didn't really like the beast fights. I felt like she took full advantage of what made Bloodborne combat unique and it was a battle I REALLY enjoyed. Her lore is freaking amazing and I love what a gray character she is. I had actually planned on adding all of the Orphan's screams to various attacks. I had added the Orphan's transitioning scream and lightning for the PK's waves of blue fire but it sounded jarring so I ultimately chose to leave them out since I wondered if they might be too distracting.
@zs345 hell yeah, Maria is my number one favourite Boss in Bloodborne and I think you can clearly see why😄 Besides her resemblances to Friede, fight with her has insanely fun flow. It was another very enjoyable video to watch, you can be proud of yourself.🤗
