That's a fantastic review, mate. It is obvious you struggled with this one. You're right, it's a truly unique fragrance. Did you get the metallic vibe to it? Perhaps that's the Sci Fi futuristic quality to it that you got? Thanks for the review.
You prolly dont care but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
I really like Rien Intense Incense. I tried Secretions Magnifiques. It's not as bad as people make it sound. It smells like milk and aldehydes with a metallic undertone. It doesn't smell like blood or anything else like that IMO. I've tried a few others from ELDO but wasn't really impressed with them. This house isn't really my style TBH. I do like Rien Intense Incense, though.
Have you tried rien? I want to blind buy one of them and i am more inclined to ren based on fragrantica reviews. But i would like to see your opinion also, i also tried secretions magnifiques and i have the same opinion as you on it.
@@QuestioningScents I haven't a clue sir. I've yet to buy any Indie or Niche fragrances and noticed in my designer collection I don't have a good Incense or tea fragrance and have been looking about. Was looking to maybe get a sample of ELDO Rien Intense Incense, Robert Piguet Casbah, and a few others
I'm going to have to say I'm not sure about that. It's been a while since I've smelt either. I only had a sample of RII and ove not smelt Kouros in a long time. Might need to change that as I used to like Kouros
@@QuestioningScents Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, current Kouros formulations are but a shadow of its former self. One could actually say they're 2 completely different scents. The first bottles without the metal shoulders are still ok, but my 2018 bottle is just bad. Oh well...
Antland14 you mean with the metal shoulders - those are the original bottles and formulation, I have full bottles from the 80’s sealed in its original wrapper, Kouros was King
@@johnnygorena5318 I was actually mentioning the first batch of bottles produced without the metal as those are still reminiscent of the Kouros DNA (about early 2010 I think). After those the scent become a disgrace. Of course, nothing like the 80s/90s stuff! I have 2 bottles: one from 1995 and other from 2006 and they're pretty much similar. I happen to have a miniature from the the early 80s and oh boy, those who have smelt it know that's what heaven smells like.
This is one of my best frags really like it and I love how you describe it so deeply and with passion 👌
Thank you so much for your kind words. It's an amazing frag and I totally respect the craftsmanship. It's just not for me sadly.
great frag Matt, I'm with Misan on this one :)
You are hilarious!!! This description of Rien is spot on! Thank you :)

Secretions I really struggled with
. I got a remarkable similarity to blood that me gag !
@@QuestioningScents I didn't get blood or any other type of bodily fluid from it. Perhaps it's a skin chemistry thing.

Great fragrance! Which is your favourite of Eldo’s fragrances?
Hi, our favourite is Tom of Finland closely followed by Fat Electrician (reviews coming).
Questioning Scents Fat Electrician is fantastic! Crazy Vetiver explosion. My favourite is Divin Enfant.
Found it matt ! Great review mate
Have you tried the original Rien ?
I've still not got round to trying it yet ! I will do soon. Have you tried it and if so what do you think ?

Great review! Also, I’ve read this has similarities to Kouros, what do you think?
