Samsung tab second screen for windows/ ipad side car for macbook as a second screen sounds more reasonable. Comes with build in battery and better screen.
Look for 100% sRGB coverage and anything above 200 nits brightness. Note that companies like to advertise higher than actual brightness. E.g. Advertised 300 nits may be actually just 200 nits. I honestly don't see the point of this... There is more inconvenience than benefit. If the cable is no the same side and someone wants the screen to be closer (which doesn't seem a big deal to me, especially as there are bezels anyway), a USB C angled adapter could be used (and if the screen is used at an angle itself it's not even necessary)

You can use the screen on the other side, with cable coming out from the right side.
