    I have a 97 Z and the IACV AAC is different to this, springs don't come out from AAC as the are fitted through a hole next to the idle screw then its sealed, also where gasket is is all flat with just a round snd square hole.

    Yeah mines not coming apart like that and tried on a junk yard spare and could not get the main piece out like yours just the set screw and the fcid came out .. I’m not going to push it given how expensive they are right now 😮

    Mine starts at 1200 rpms and within 30 seconds jumps up to 2000 rpms at cold idle, could this be the problem?

    Hi. Thanks for your video. I have a 1990 300zx 2+2 and I been having hesitation between 2500 and 3000 rpm only when engine is worm. Do you used to have the same problem??

      The cam solenoids operate right around 2700 rpm is my understanding so it may be a faulty cam solenoid or timing belt cam drive. the solenoids are on the back of the engine mounted on the heads and not a so easy job with the top manifold on since the valve covers have to come off.

      Mines done the same thing for years, I've tried everything but a new cas. Did you ever figure out why it was happening with your z?

      This is an old comment so I don't anticipate a response but I have a 91 NA. Recently, when I turn on the ac rpms drop to 500 on deceleration or at idle and the motor either dies or it hangs really low rpm and eventually jumps back up. The only thing I can think of is idle air control valve, what would you think?

      @@estebanb.8371 I know your comment is months old as well but I’m having the same issue. Turns on idles up for a second then drops to around 500 rpm then dies out. Replaced all sorts of parts and checked all vacuum lines. Cleaning the IAA to see if it helps at all. Did you ever figure that out?
