I've had this litter box for a week now. Mini review: So far it's working well, my cats now prefer it to my catlink auto litter box. They like the low entry of the Petree. The cleaning cycle is quiet and I can't hear it a few feet away. The litter box is easy to take apart and clean. To add fresh litter you can either use a scoop through the front entry or take the cover off and add it to the top of the drum. The app only shows the status of the box and the number of times cats have used it (it doesn't have a weight sensor). You can also configure settings like the length of time between a cat using the box and the cleaning cycle.
Minor negatives: the waste tray is pretty small. For two cats you will be changing the bag every day. Change it as soon as possible, otherwise the cycles will overfill the drawer and make a mess when you pull it out. Once you run out of the bags that come with it, you can use other small bags such as kitchen garbage bags (I use scented ones). Note - the bags that come with this box are flimsy and often split open.
During the cleaning cycle, false "cat approach" alerts happen and the cleaning pauses with a red flashing light. It usually continues on its own, or you can use the app to get it going. Finally, there is a gap at the bottom of the opening, between the white "hood" and the grey drum inside. It's possible that a cat could pee over the edge of the drum and get urine between the drum and the hood (down into the base). So far this hasn't happened to me, but I have a cat who pees on the edge, so I'm keeping some white paper towel below the opening just to make sure.

I had trouble connecting and then figured out my phone was on the 5G wifi network. Once I switched the phone to the local 2.4 wifi network it found the litter box and connected.
How do you switch your phone to a lower network?

Does this still work if my only router frequency option is 5GHz?

That is really strange.
Because my ex had it working here using the same 5GHz router I still use, and now it won't connect.
The router most probably is a dual band router. Most of the routers out there in the market comes with 2.4ghz/5ghz router.
@@NopeNotHere. You'll probably need to set it up first via 2.4ghz. once done, you can connect to the app with either 2.4ghz or 5ghz.

Says there's an obstruction and can't rotate.
I've taken it apart, scrubbed it clean, reassembled it multiple times.
Still won't work.
