You are so blessed to have your beautiful curly hair! I have fine thin hair. I sleep on a silk pillow case. It is good for the hair and your skin! Love the bloopers! Keep smiling! 🥰
Hi Donna - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments. Ps. There are some "universal" diffusers on Amazon that might fit your Babyliss Pro travel blow dryer amzn.to/42SkKgZ The good thing about Amazon is that if it does not fit you can return it. I hope this helps!
Hi Meari - awww thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments 😀. Yes, I am using a shine spray from Walmart that is under $5! It is called Pink Glosser; you will find it in the ethnic hair section. This gloss spray is a hidden gem at Walmart!
I really, really hope you’ll post some more videos on doing your hair! You’ve made such a great transition and I’ve been transitioning with you. Watching lots of RUclips videos about the curly girl method. I don’t follow it exactly but I’m learning a lot there too. But all of them are so much younger than I. Do you color your hair? Because I think having gray hair -which I do -makes a difference with keeping it from getting frizzy but I’m not ready to go gray yet. Please do more tutorials about hair!! I think you’ll get a lot of new subscribers that way too!!! Thank you!
Hi Debra - awww thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments 😊. I do color my hair, underneath I am about 40% gray. I also do a looser version of the curly girl method. I used to get perms in the 80s when big hair was in because I had no idea my hair could do this on its own! I was like the people on the TV show "I didn't know I was pregnant!", only "I didn't know I had curly hair!" LOL 😆 😂 🤣
@@TheresaRene360 I did them spiral perms in the 80’s loved my big hair mouse and some hair spray out the door....you should post a pic of ur big hair love to see it!
I also have thick frizzy hair like yours I changed to a silk pillowcase six months ago and it has help me tremendously I always heard about this but never bothered to try best thing I did great tip to all women with frizzy hair
Hi Tabitha - awww thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. Ps. I get a little silly sometimes sitting here filming by myself all day, thus the bloopers LOL
Hi Julie - thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments 😊. The earrings I am wearing in this video are from Swarovski. I bought them on clearance about a year ago. If I can find them online, I will get a link for you 😀
My hair is like yours but A lot longer so I feel ya! Have u tried using the revlon brush that also a dryer it really smooths ur hair out!i also use serum in my hair to keep frizz down!
I have a question regarding the cool water blast to finish off rinsing the hair and then turning around and using a blow dryer. Would that heat open the hair cuticle? I have curly hair and when I let it be natural, my hair gets fussy or should I say frizzy? Gosh, those silk pillow cases are the best prices I have seen! I'm off to get one or two.
Hi Libby - I agree, for the quality and selection of these @lilysilk pillowcases the prices are great! You are correct, using heat after the cool water rinse does open the hair cuticle back up. I tend to try and diffuse with cool air whenever I have the time (typically a day off). But I have had to use hot air if I am in a hurry on occasion. In that instance, I do the last couple minutes of diffusing with cool air to close the hair cuticle again. I hope this helps! Hugs
@@TheresaRene360 If I use the blow dryer it is with a diffuser. Otherwise my hair looks like it's homeless. 😆 I have a blow dryer that brushes my hair to straighten it, which I love, and I use it on low heat and low air. I have probably 1/4 the hair you do so it doesn't take me too long. LOL ❤
Willing to bet no iron. Be still my heart. I’m basing that on her video where she shows her shower routine when she washes her hair. It’s on You tube too.
Hi Tammy - thanks so much for watching, and for your thoughtful comments as always :). I had a cheap silk pillowcase years ago, and did not care for it. The pillowcases by @lilysilk are positively LUXURIOUS, and start at around $20, so to me they are very reasonably priced! I hope this helps :) Hugs
As a curly girl myself. I already know all about frizz. lol Summer here in Texas is the worse for it. I also have a couple of satin pillow cases that I love, but I was wondering, did you get a 19, 22 or 25 Momme pillowcase?
I landed on your channel for curly girl method....here you are with straight hair😮
Once in a great while, I straighten my hair 😆 🤣 😂

Hi Cristina - just go through the links below the video! Thanks so much for watching 😀

Hi Paula - thanks so much for watching 😀. I blew my hair out and then went over just the top layer with a flat iron. I hope this helps!
