Anyone else watching this after realizing one of the buff dudes was Kratos?
Was looking for such comment haha.
Yup. Lol just watched their Kratos video and had to see this. Lol
Brandon could easily play live action Kratos
Me lol
@@jasonalbran376 well he just did
if they make a movie of this game, have this guy in the trailer be Kratos. he's just such a convincing Kratos
that's Brandon Hudson, he's from the Buff Dudes channel. he's a beast!
idk he is not a actor jason stadam could me and my bad if I spell the name wrong
he has a youtube channel acually. it's called buff dudes and that's how I even found this trailer lol
+Jackson Meade yeah that's what led me here too lol
+24lhanks his name is brandon white.
Makes me glad to be a part of the playstation nation
Agree to that God of War if what really made me a gamer to this day best game story line ever made

Yes boys I'm back, only real ones come back to this legendary trailer.
Kratos has lost his wife, his kid, and his brother in arms. he is a man who's lost too much, and he can't take it anymore.
Don't forget his brother
DASH X20 well... that was by his hands.
Someone somewhere this is exactly how i feel after the walking dead last night
meh no more than martian manhunter, then again i guess aliens don't count
you forget his mother
A man with nothing to lose is more dangerous than a man with everything to lose,
because a man with nothing to lose can basically do whatever he pleases with no fear of repercussions or punishments.
Depends- if the man with everything to lose knows how much it’s worth, he’ll go the same lengths to defend it.
@@solvemproblerstudios5889 but he won't take every risk possible if they're a chance to lose them.
very well said
Well if me having everything to lose meant losing my wife and child I would be 100% reckless and unreasonable like blark when he's in the walls.
I think Kratos proves that wrong. He has Atreus now and he will fight no matter what to keep that one thing he has
For some reason, I want a live action movie of Kratos just killing everyone.
Who should play kratos?
@@josephzayas3715 Well, if u talk about the trilogy of GOW we have
Jason Momoa, Jason statham, Vin diesel, Dave bautista (Batista of wwe) and Golberg (wrestler of wwe) but if u refer to the actor of GOW4
Maybe Golberg, why? He has the face of kratos, he has the fisically, and the mentally, he has the muscles he is tall, he has the beard and he is old, but he didn't see soooo old, like kratos, so, there are my options
@@josephzayas3715 if it’s the 4 game I’d say dwane Johnson just slap a beard on him
@@wally9651 what about scott adkins?
@@angelbarreto7089 he don't looks like kratos in nothing, he is the most skinny guy in the options that i put, i think one moment in him but he can't be kratos, if he was kratos he gonna looks like the men of the video, and also i see some photos of him with beard and no, he can't be kratos sorry buddy

Always give me chills when the daughter turns in to ashes and covers kratos skin I love this vid so much
For them he destroyed an entire pantheon
So harsh when that happens. Kratos is clearly in so much pain but I can only imagine what he does to that army advancing on him.
His wife just turning her back on him
@@jorgep19651 this
Kratos has been through a lot but he has been given a second chance and plus only real fans get mad and sad with him as well
Yeh his second chance is BOI
That's what the man gets for selling his soul to Ares for a pair of enchanted blades that won't ever leave his side, even during fun times with Mimir & the ladies of the forrests...

No u.
@@KermitOfWar You say that what he gets for offering himself. As if he knew all of these things that will haunt him would have occurred.
It's 2023 , this is still one of the best and emotional commercial I've ever seen
Just beautiful
Felt the pain of kratos 💔
I cant take you seriously with that profile pic
7 years later it's still a masterpiece.
After GOW 4 i feel this commercial more intense and even more sad, kratos still has a difficult life, another wife is gone... i dont know if he can take more pain ;(
And his son might eventually kill him
@@marcpearson2712 most likely dies in other to protect him against the Æsir, and detonates the Ragnarok with Atreus doing exactly what Katos done to the Greek gods.

DF_CHINOOK , it’s okay to cry. People cry at movies, a series or even video games. Like What’s your point in your statement?
Kratos as a character underwent one of the greatest redemption arcs ever written, on top of the enormously profound lessons he learns along the way
This game trailer shows more quality than any Netflix adaptation I've seen.
"i will make the gods pay for all they took from me I will make them feel my endless wrath until there is nothing left"
There is no such dialogue in the entire GOW series, but this is a great one

True
Not even close, sorry.
10 Years later and it still giving chills down my spine.
This is probably the most emotional I've ever gotten from a game trailer
Are u alive bro?😮
Sony did it before it becomes an Avengers Meme
Every disintegration scene is now an Avengers meme lol
And then nintendo copied it with smash ultimate
5 years later and this is still a legendary trailer ...
My heart started aching when I saw his loving child crumble away. And when the music hits made me want to cry for this man.
I like how they try to make Kratos guilty of everything known in Greek myth:
He sunk Atlantis
He killed Hydra
He chained Atlas to hold the world
He decapited Medusa and her sisters
He opened Pandora's Box
He took the wings from Icarus
I think the only thing that wasn't in the myth was the destruction of olympus.
+Brian MadGil He destroyed Olympus in God Of War III.
He killed Cerberus, Minotaur, and Kraken.
vileToxxie Not too mention the Sisters of Fate, and the Furies. 6 deities that even the gods bowed too.
+Ivan Caroselli but what he meant was that the destruction of Olympus was not part of Greek mythology.
+freedomslastflight the furies don't obey to the furies, they obeyes to hades, but the gods do obey to the fates
maybe God of War is too epic to actually make into a film?!?
That's exactly why they can make a film out of it
na its probs because of how long the story is
Episodes then?
Daniel Fuentes shhhhhh....
Netflix might hear you....

Who's coming back to this a year later to still show support for an awesome game?
Brings a tear to my eye every time, masterpiece.
10 years after still the best trailer ever made. Still gives me goosebumps.
All the pain he went through, it's downright heartbreaking for Kratos to lose everyone he loved.
Well, at least he found peace with atreus and in 2018
The sad thing is that was just an illusion cause his wife is wearing the ring that means shes the queen fury
Yeah, that's why everything turned to ash and revealed that he was really in the middle of battle. The Queen Fury was attacking him mentally to break his fighting spirit and win
Man. I've seen this more times than I know and never noticed the ring.
Man dang, just realized that
Man i cant really count the times i ve seen this and never noticed the ring and he is holding Orkos's amulet too
Yo you made me just realize that the ashes symbolized the illusion. I previously thought it meant that he lost everything, but nah, it was demonstrating the illusion and the memories rushing back.
Mid 2022 and this trailer still hits you right in all the feels spots
I watched this 7 years ago and it gave me chills and till this day nothing changed, chills everytime.
