Yes they were dicks, but Kratos really gave alot of them no choice, He was out of control and straight out attacking all of them without provocation. Zeus attack on Sparta was uncalled for, but through Athena he did try to reason with him several times before that, not to mentioned during his campaign against Ares he did help him multiple times. -Athena, multiple times. And yes, she was infected but greed, but the hope did rightly belong to her, and Kratos final act was more to spite her rather than to help humanity. Now you may want to argue that the events in Ghost of Sparta justify some of his actions against Zeus, keep in mind that Kratos didn't really pursue vengeance against the king of the gods till he attacked him at Rhodes, until then the death of Deimos was pretty much water under the bridge for Kratos.
