I honestly think Max's mum's attitude contributes massively to his behaviour. The food part just shows how much she's affecting his diet from her reaction.
I'd say Max's environment doesn't help and expectations too, it's not all on the mum.

I'm amazed at how the parents defend giving their kids coke and energy drinks just to get up in the morning, me at their age I never needed that.
Yeah the reason he is so tired is because he has become addicted to the drinks, so when he dosen't have them gets withdrawal symptoms

How can she claim he doesn't like fruit and veg when he was fairly happy for him to try them and he ended up liking it.
Because his mum does the same, he is just doing what his mum has shown him to do when confronted with new food.

The parents trying to justify giving their child energy drinks really annoyed me
I mean some parents don't care if they do or not, the parents do it to help them and I did also notice that the kid I think has adhd and was having ticks when stressed so maybe after them in the school they don't have to use energy drinks to stay up, or refrain from going to bed but anyways idek

Wow! How the hell can the kids be expected to eat properly when the parents don't. Look at the parents reaction to fruit in front of her son. It's no wonder he hates most things as he's adopting all of her hates on top of his own. It's baffling to watch. It's like this can't be real. I've never seen anything like it.

Mr Drew isn’t the same as he was on educating Essex but that’s probably down to the kind of kids that he’s dealing with

Some people shouldn’t be parents 🤦♀️. It sucks that there are couples out there who are dying to have children of their own, but can’t for certain reasons, and people like this have been gifted that chance and have wasted it. It’s awful!
Some of these parents are more embarrassing than the kids, don't ask for help and then complain about the way in which you're being helped.
Imagine if Miss Trunchbull taught these kids

Zayns dad is the reason he is so argumentative and hyper. If doesn't want to change because it would mean accepting responsibility which it dosent look like he does anyway. He just sticks his headphones on and blocks out the shouting. I'd prefer my kid to be sluggish in the morning if it meant avoiding confrontation if he's hyper.

Super Nanny , is about working with younger kids , so they don't get to this stage . Mr Drew is actually doing the same techiques that Jo Frost does .

He’s probably seen parents up the shop or in the playground in their pyjamas
The key thing about learning is for them to enjoy it and to keep them focused on the task. Constant paperwork in schools doesn’t help kids. Especially kids who struggle with learning issues ( me ) it makes it 100% harder and Unenjoyable. Doing physical tasks get them motivated. That’s what they need
I agree that they need physical tasks & chores, but in this world they also need to learn reading, math, etc., and in order to learn they have to sit still and focus, as well as afternoons of playground, football, soccer, basketball, or anything that releases pent-up anger, stress, and energy and teaches teamwork, otherwise they get isolation until they learn how to play by the rules. Pure and simple.
To get anywhere in life you need both

Diet absolutely affects learning & behaviour.. Most of the super expensive, private schools in my city have banned sugar-laden drinks & snacks from campus for years & behaviour/concentration has improved.

You can’t blame children for this kind of behaviour. Children don’t just learn to talk like this. These parents know exactly where they’re going wrong they just don’t to admit fault.
