J'aime beaucoup la musique de kelley deal ❤❤❤❤vraiment !!🙏
i love to hear the Deal sister's talk, so entertaining :)
She is so friendly and down to earth.
sounds like a doctor talking to his patient, trying to find what's the matter with her so that he can give her a prescription. she had some interesting things to say though, i liked that she mentioned the fans throwing balls of wool up on the stage for her (since they know she is an avid knitter)
I loved this interview, I love this girl (woman), I could listen to her blab and blab. She's still pretty damn attractive too, and she does rock.
that wool story in amsterdham is really cool !
Love her.
you're not paranoid kelly, the breeders albums really do sound quiet
And that's what the Volume control is for!
It takes longer because you're musicians who have something to say. As you say, you play your own songs and I loved seeing you all in Brooklyn. Looking forward to The Pony Show. No dog here, that's for certain.
To what capacity was Kelley on Pacer? Jim played on the single, i believe and is in the video, but did he play on the album? I read an article before it was made where kim said she was playing all the instruments herself on a digital four track. I always assumed that's what happened. I had no idea anyone played on it. And he's not an idiot... being foreign he misunderstood the concept of quiet. BFD.

That was a really nice interview.
I didn't know she was on Pacer? I always figured that was more or less Kim solo, I bet she's telling the truth though.
No. Pod is quiet but MB is fine
I have to *literally* think about that! (as opposed to "figuratively?") :D This woman is fun(ny)! The interviewer is too subdued/rigid unfortunately. If only Kelley could speak Dutch (not German)... her last remarks point to the way CD's are mastered too loud and too normalized, sucking the natural dynamics out of the performance i.e. "the loudness war" She shouldn't worry, because music which "proper" mastering can be turned up way louder and everything (esp. the bass) sounds much better if everything isn't "evened out". On a room stereo that is.
interviewer is so rude and dumb, and she is so sweet..
The mix is quiet in places. It's inconsistent. Really not the best production, regardless of the Abbey Road involvement. Should have saved their money and just used someone with normal hearing to sort it for them. Love the Breeders but the mix on Mountain Battles really ruined the album for me.
No she isn't.
That is an awful chair. Was this in 1978 not 2008?
