I’m a 45 year old retired military man. I totally agree with you. I am so sick and tired of the noise pollution here in the suburbs. I remember when I was a kid in Puerto Rico in the country side, the peace and quiet, I remember how beautiful and relaxing was being around nature and the animals. I am currently trying to find land in Missouri or Arkansas and leave all this behind…. To have my perfect Shabbats in nature and rejoice in the creation. Shabbat Shalom Doug and Stacey … May the peace of Yeshua HaMashiach fill your day.

My daughters and I volunteered at a horse farm with lessons for children with disabilities….it was so rewarding watching their joyful reactions because those that could not walk had freedom.
My husband I take time to find restful time with each other…….sitting in the sun out in the field watching the critters. Sitting and listening to piano music while he plays word games to work his brain and I crochet….
We don’t go out to eat much but the other day we bought sandwiches from the Amish market then rode to the nearby lake and watched the quiet water and enjoyed peacefulness.
We spent a week on James Island at my daughters home…..I was stressed out with traffic noise, crowded roads with crazy drivers. Downtown Charleston was unique but soooo very crowded with cars zooming about, fancy over priced restaurants, expensive homes which all had no window coverings because they like flaunting their wealth, ……..so you drove by and could see all that was in their homes…….can you imagine when SHTF happens…..the low life’s can just walk by and decide who and what they’ll take.
I love my old 31 acre farm, the quiet, the simple life and even though it’s not fancy, it’s warm and comfortable….
I spend my days, cooking, canning, making tinctures, sewing, crocheting and working with my husband in his wood shop.
I bought a large greenhouse for this coming season which we will grow food together…..up till now it’s been just my doings in a 20’ by 10 ‘ greenhouse and a fenced in outdoor garden with two long raise beds.
I intend to grow under covers because they are always doing chem trails in our area…..why?
Tell us how you will avoid the bank from making you do digital currency? How will you avoid what is going to happen to our dollars in Jan 2024 they say will happen.
All these years we looked to retirement and now I’m scared they’ll take our SS and our cash away.
My husband quit his job six months before his retirement date….it’s a stress but his health was effected by all the wood dust building log homes and the constant problems unprofessional workers were causing…..their lack of doing great work, on their phones and thieving……his foreman cheated and lied but the owners would not fire him because he started the company with them….my husbands high standards meant nothing to them…one day a cabin may burn because of unqualified workers doing electric and my husband did not want his name or work be blamed for it when it was another’s carelessness…..so he lost a lot of money quitting but at least he smiles now.

In 2017, I lost my husband of 24 years to cancer. During those years, we both lived in the city. I married again in 2019 and decided to move out of the city. It’s been three years since and I’m learning how to do the homesteading lifestyle. I couldn’t be happier. I’m 65 now and I love being in the country. Wonderful message! As I listened you took me back to a time when I had a small farm that included one horse and 3 Llamas. I had brought them into the barn for protection from the cold, windy night, put them in their stalls and fed them. As I sat there listening to the quiet munching of their hay, the shuffling of their feet in the straw bedding and their sweet noises of communication to each other, I thought.... no wonder YAH chose a stable for the birth of Yeshua/Jesus. There cannot be a more peaceful place.

I so agree with Doug on this video. When I step out at dawn, I hear birds singing or yelling at me to fill their feeders lol. When I open the coop, the girls are talking to me. I can walk out back in the woods where it’s so quiet. This time of year the gardens, berry bushes and fruit trees are sleeping. Living in the country is just the best!

I just came over and watched this immediately after the live show. I didn’t realize that I had missed it.
I so agree! Honestly, I used to be afraid years ago until we made the change to keeping the Feasts, eating clean, etc… there is something about being called back to His ancient paths that calms the soul. Following His instruction, having a relationship with the animals and plants and food has brought a peace that no one can take away. And it’s crazy that we felt like we were the only ones until He opened the window so we could see that there were so many of us out there! I’m so thankful for that!!
No fear, just peace even in the storm. ❤
I am looking forward to the 2024 videos that you two have planned!

One of the things the kids learned very quickly was that while there is a lot of Life on the Farm, there is also a lot of Death. I grew up in a Funeral Parlor, I learned right away about TIME being our most elusive currency because it's not just old folks who pass away; it's kids with cancer, kids on bicycles, kids dancing with trains and a lot of teenage drunk drivers...death is everywhere, holding hands with youth while tethered to the elders. This was the BEST lesson I was given, I am so so SO grateful. Flip Side: I am positively mental about my TIME, and how I spend it. Every moment genuinely is a gift.

I am grateful for the land on the lake that God has Blessed me with! His house, my home. The peace and tranquility here is amazing, the wildlife that comes through my yard every day and every night is a reminder of what God has created. The sounds are incredible, especially when the fish are jumping in the lake and the bufflehead ducks that have come back for the winter. I can barely see the houses on either side of me and both of them are vacation homes for their owners. So I have lots of areas. Just peace and quiet the majority of the time. Working on growing my own food again when I can keep the deer from eating everything but my rocks. I will be doing some hydroponic gardening as that's what I can do in the winter time. Going to worship with my church family is a 90 mile round trip Trek and very well worth it to me to be with them even if it is only once a week. I serve the Lord there and in my home daily. And I love fellowshipping with God all the time. Going to ferment cabbage and jalapenos today. Have a blessed and wonderful CHRISTmas, and a happy New Year. 🎉

Your place sounds lovely. I dream of a peaceful place to move to. I'm on disability and stuck in a horrible apartment. No peace here. Noisy bar on one side and bad neighbor on the other. I keep praying for a place with some quiet and some grass to do some earthing/grounding. I tried to plant but there is no outside faucet so carried water. Then the landlord sprayed round up on the weeds between the blacktop and the storage units and that was the end of my garden after all that work!! Been looking for a long time. Still nothing available that I can afford. I guess God put me here for a reason. 😉 Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to you and everyone reading this.

They do listen to the nightly news and are not aware of all the junk going on in the world. The cowbell of our neighbors cows, the call of the whip-poor-will and the melodious chirping of spring peepers from the pond down the road. I now work in landscape maintenance on one person’s property along Lake Michigan. I hear the roar of the waves when the winds out of the east, birds singing, the smell of the earth and flowers, the warm sun upon my face, squirrels busily collecting acorns in preparation for the long winter, the changing of the leaves in the fall and daffodils, magnolias, crabapples bursting into bloom, welcoming spring. I am at peace and so blessed to have the opportunity to work outside doing what I love!

I also volunteer at a local organic farm and was able to get pumpkins, apples, pears and butternut squash this fall. You both are inspiring!

So true! Same with hiking in the woods and the sound of light rain, birds, squirrels, the wind blowing through the trees, snow crunching under feet. And then farm sounds, the goats, cows and chickens. I just love it all! So happy to have escaped the city and live on some land in the western NC mountains. To me it’s paradise!

We have to cross a bridge to get to our house there is no other out let. Theres about 5 houses around us. Almost everyone has farm animals.
The people up the road has donkeys and goats always have dogs running around.
Another family has chickens and roosters the crows, which i love!
Its not uncommon for the donkeys and goats grazing around our property. We all have horses.
    Its so peaceful here.
We just moved here last spring. The thing i like best, we feel safe, because its nieghborly. When we first got here, people came and introduced their self...They call us
"the sisters" i live in my camper beside my Two sisters. We are truly blessed!! Very grateful. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year, keep praying for our nation🙏🙏

Watched your live show last night and went back to watch this video as recommended. So glad I did! Truly, following Yah's ways - along His ancient paths - is what brings deep, abiding peace/shalom to our souls. He designed us to live in the midst of and in connection with His creation, originally in the Garden of Eden. In the countryside on the homestead tending and watching over the garden and farm animals is where we are meant to be. Where our lives are the most purposeful, fulfilling, and blessed. Thank you and Yah bless you for being an inspiring example and teachers of the homesteading lifestyle according to our Creator's plans!

Hey Doug, I saw you in the other video and came to this one and watched the entire video. Thanks for making and posting. I love the sheep and saw the videos when some of them were just days old. Love seeing getting to see around yall's farm, which reminded me of my great-grandmother's farm with chickens, crops, tractors, the outhouse, and even the bull in the barn. My uncle used to let me drive the tractor by myself when I was between 9-12yo! It was such a treat! I loved it!! My daughter and I enjoy yall's videos so much and often watch them together. We agree with ya on so many topics. Thank you for each of them. We love and appreciate you both! Prayin for ya! May God bless you and your family and always keep you in His hands!! 💙

I saw you mention low numbers on this in the live feed. I just wanted to say I watched this when you first dropped it and I loved it then and seeing Abby and the other cute and cuddlies is awesome! I grew up raising goats and there were several times we lost one early and there was one that I fought my dad over at the age of 12 so he let me bottle feed and save it. I think learning to care for animals is the first step in humans learning the true caring and loving of another. Thank you for sharing.

I watched your live yesterday, but somehow missed this one.Im watching it now and absolutely love it.I can shut my eyes and b imagine that I'm sitting in the country in blessed peace among GOD'S beautiful work, the provision and the animals HE means for us to care for and receive all we need to live. I have believed th8s way s8nce I was 16 and have lived in the c9untry ever since Unfortunately I was left t9 ra8se 2 children along with 4 grandchildren so I worked 2 jobs ,always telling myself one day .Well one day turned into many years and now at 69 find myself legally blind, unable to drive with a host of debilitating medical issues.I cannot go anywhere by myself. My dream has always been to have a littlevcabin in the woods or mountains with a handpump for water, raising and growing my ownbfood.Working hard, resting on the LORD'S Sabbath and enjoying and praising the peace and comfort while praising HIS Glory. Now other then the home remedies as I can.I am at HIS Mercy and the plans HE has for me because I kept putting off obeying HIM . Don't do what I have done.Thank you Doug and Stacie. I can tell that you both work tirelessly to inform and teach all who will notbonly listen but do. Blessing from Arkansas.
