- We decided to take the Tesla out for a test drive, and what better place to go than to eat chicken rice! Our whole family hasn't been feeling well, so Malaysian comfort food was definitely the right choice. And of course, Rachel had to test out the self-driving function on the Tesla... now THAT is an experience.

You know God is great when almost everyone in the house are not feeling well, there's always one or two remain healthy to take care the rest of them. It happened to my family couple months ago. Everyone including both parents in the same house down with sickness and hospitalized except me and my wife stay healthy to run errands. Yes, family is the most important and always grateful.

Here are some tips for your Tesla. There is a button on the charger handle that will open your charge door when you press it. After you are done charging, the door will automatically close about 10 seconds after removal of the charge handle so you don't have to force it down. I find it cheaper to install a Nema 1450 wall outlet and buy the connector ($15 from Tesla rather than $500 for the wall charger) and use it with the charger you already have. You'll still need to have the electrician install it but $15 is a lot better than $500. The charge will be just slightly slower with 7kW rather than 11 kW but that equates to being able to add a charge of 32 miles/hour vs 40 miles/hour... not that big a difference.

A Tesla is similar to shift from an old Nokia or Blackberry to an iPhone i.e. Smartphone. Once you got used to it you will love it, and it takes some time to discover and learn all features. 🎉Lovely car! :)

I wouldn't want it for 2 reasons
1. I can't even work a digital washing machine.
2. I'm afraid it will get hacked and take me on a high speed ride to kingdom come.

I have a hard time believing the Tesla is 2nd hand because of how pristine it is. Love to see your family, Logesh.
To insert the charge, just point the connector at the port and press the button and the port will open. To remove the connector press the button and gently pull out. It’s so simple. For the home charger, I recommend using an appropriate outlet instead of hardwiring. This will allow you to easily remove the charge and take it with you should you decide to move house. Keep on hand on the steering wheel and just be aware of all traffic around you. It’s the other crazy human drivers that cause accidents. Otherwise have fun with the Tesla.
hardwire is better. some outlets not made for continuous high current. i had installed both.

When Rach is not feel like cooking, you have to cook and feed her😛. your younger kid reminded me of my mother, who is no more, that she used to say 'ahem' when I was coughing like that in my 52 nd year, and she was 76, as if I am still her baby. My wife used to gave her amused look like "mama's baby".

I remember experiencing the same like Rachel when i first drove auto pilot in 2019. Lots have changed, used to be cheap driving electric ⚡️ but now it cost almost the same driving a petrol car here in NL . But still love the comfort driving a t every time till today

Hepa filter will wipe out the smell-they'll learn slowly.
You can control much of the features in the car using voice. Just say open glove box, open charge port, set temp to xx deg. There are some funny ones you can explore. Also, use camp mode and lock the door when you leave your wife and kids behind in the car, this way they can use the screen the way they want. comfortably while

It's always the first generation that has the hardest time adjusting to a new technology. In 10 or 15 years, people will just hop in and tell the car where they want to go and sit back, relax and let the car do the driving. It's all about control and learning to let go, relax and enjoy.
Anna u guys just need some hot water and some drops of vicks to vape in and will be good I'm not sure it's OK for kids but u both adult can feel relief with tht 100% 😉

Unfortunately here back home fast chargers are still scarce and expensive to use. As usual our country's govt are really2 slow to adopt new technologies.
