If you want to shed a tear or two, find Roger Taylor's single he wrote about Freddie after Freddie was gone "Old Friend". It's a heart grabber.
I love how each band member is introduced before they do a short little solo, Roger saying Freddie Mercury, then Freddie calling the other guys, John Deacon bopping away, Rrrroger Taylor, look at me look at me. It’s just a fun feel good song
So happy you reacted to the video! It’s a fun and playful vibe for the song. Whenever you feel like reacting to Freddie’s foray into Opera, there are 4 songs I think you will probably like. He sang with Monserrat Caballe, a Soprano from Spain. His very favorite voice, he said “She is music”. First, Freddie singing EXERCISES IN FREE LOVE to show Montsy the melody and her part (they were in different parts of the world). His vicals will make your jaw drop!! This melody became the song ENSUEÑO (sung in Spanish). Then there is BARCELONA, which was for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Two of my favorites are GUIDE ME HOME and HOW CAN I GO ON. Their voices are beautiful together. Freddie and Mike Moran (who played piano) wrote all the music, also all the lyrics except 2 songs that I havn’t mentioned. This was the first time 2 star performers from 2 different genres (Rock and Opera) ever performed together.
Oh the good ol’ days of video games!! In the last handful of years with Freddie Queen was very clever with the music video ie., THE MIRACLE, HEADLONG, BREAKTHRU, SCANDAL, I’M GOING SLIGHTLY MAD. All fantastic songs!! There’s also a song called BIJOU written by Brian & Freddie. The structure of the song is reverse (most songs have vocals with a guitar solo in the middle but BIJOU does the opposite). Brian’s guitar playing is Heavenly (to me it sounds like the Red Special is mourning for Freddie). ☹️ OMG
The concept is on an old video game,this is how they looked back in the 1980's and this is also at the time when Freddie was ill

Great song written by Roger Taylor which explains the upfront drums and bass in this song. Driving beat, edgy guitar licks and hot melody.
