This is FABULOUS. And the film production matches the music so well in its dreamy style. Brilliant work, and so inspiring for me as I work on this piece. Thank you!
Finally proper treatment of this fantastic composers work! Thank you.
This is my favourite performance on RUclips, absolutely fantastical rendering of this piece and an incredible mix as well. Such intelligence and dynamic empathy really make this an incredible work for our times. Absolutely love the mix of more simplistic pentatonic passages and fifths alongside more complex scalic melodic exploration, I'm in awe!
Smoke Thief Thank you so much for your kind words about my performance of Morpheus with Jeremy! I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the music so much and I'm sure Sean and Matt at KING FM really appreciate the review as well - Michael
Am I "dreaming" or is this reality?
Absolutely stunning! Thank you, Sean and Matt, for your attention to detail in the production of this video - Michael
This is the best interpretation of this piece, bar none. absolutely stunning.
What stunning quality of performance, and what exquisite dynamics. Both Violist and Pianist truly deeply sculpt the light and shades of this masterpiece. How absolutely beautiful. Bravo. I congratulate your interpretation. Maestro Berry, what velvety notes from 3:32...I rarely hear such luscious notes from a string instrument.
Quelle brillance de son, inégalable! Aucun autre interprète ne vibre avec autant de douceur et puissance! Déchirant!…
Jeremy is currently violist with the Calidore String Quartet, currently young artists at the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society. Another beautiful performance for him.
Eine sehr schöne Komposition! Wunderbar ausdrucksstark interpretiert mit sehr schönem, farbreichen Klang ! 👋👋 👍
Molto bello .... bellissimo pezzo suonato meravigliosamente...
What a gorgeous tone!
This is such a revelation! I will be listening to other works of hers with anticipation.
I love Rebecca Clarke, one of my favorites is her passacalglia on an old english tune. You should give that one a listen.
@@imnotarobot5871 thankyou for your recommendation!

Awesome.
Perfection
Du pur génie!
This sounds to me like a take off of French Impressionism. I've never heard this piece. But, really like it.
interesting
Enlevé!…
I would love to see the violist's bow markings and phrasings. The score is rather barren.
Stop putting that horrendous artificial reverb on the recording and let us hear the instrumentalists as they actually sound.
Some idiots need to waste their time with that crap. I agree that it is unfortunate. But the world is filled with idiots, I guess.
To hear how they "actually sound" you must attend a concert. All recording is by nature artificial.
I agree that this recording is way overproduced. Wonderful performance though.
Jared Redmond at wich part the reverb is too porwerful to your taste tho? To me it just sound beautifully mixed
Edited...
Too much reverb i think...
