Clickbait video. Also PLEASE DO NOT SEE watches as a investment. Buy it and enjoy it as a watch. A lot of people got burnt with Rolex buying last 3 years after watching YT and "investment" pieces. And do NOT buy from grey market either. I got my sub date from a AD with only a 2 month wait and getting this for my 50th next year from the same rep. And no, I'm not buying it for investment either. If u want investment, go and look at 401k, Roth IRA, buy real estate, etc and you'll enjoy the long term value. Don't pump your savings into watches cos some random RUclipsr told ya so.

Yeah, no one is tracking different time zones with a Rolex, or any mechanical watch for that matter. That's what your smart phone is for.
A great investment but not on the grey market. Don't feed the flippers.

@@lennynprado1067 because you'll pay over the odds for a watch that isnt really worth that much, you'll be feeding flippers who aren't interested in the watches themselves but in making a profit whilst not adding any value, because it makes Rolex out of reach of everyday people. Also you'll be exposing yourself to the (at times wild) swings in the grey market prices. If we all stopped paying over the odds for flipped watches we might stand a better chance at (a) buying them from an AD (b) getting them a more reasonable price. It's a bit of a scam and better not to get involved in the first place.

Is buying from a Rolex store less expensive than these gray market Rolex's?
I am looking for a Batgirl (to treat myself for my retirement from FDNY 27yrs in Manhattan). Online retailers want 17-20K.. What would I expect to pay if I were to get on a wait list? This is my first Rolex.

I found out the hard way. The so called "Wait List" is just another polite way to tell the customer to get lost. Unless you have spent a lot of money at that AD, there are watches locked up in the Safe in the back for their loyal clients. My name on the piece of paper (Waitlist) probably has gone into the shredder after I stepped out the door. I would wait until the market cool down in a year or so and check the AD again. The flippers are selling it at 100% over retail nowadays. There is No Shortage.

Curious to know other peoples opinion. No doubt GMT Master II is a great looking watch with nice history. However, wouldn't you get slightly tired from looking at colourful bezel all the time? In comparison to black sub which is timeless and can be worn with literally anything. Am I the only one that thinks this?

@@4symbols78 I have both. Wearing a minty 2011 SS SubDate and am considering selling it to justify switching over to the Batgirl I have NIB. I love the wrist appeal of the Batgirl - but an worried for the same reason. You literally can’t wear the watch without it being noticed - not necessarily a good thing these daze. (This is Canada - we’re not trusted with guns here).
Co the only thing I hate about the batgirl is the bracelet.

I hate all the nicknames. They just sound dumb and demean the brand. I watched a video by an ex boutique worker who said they're not allowed to refer to the watches by the nicknames in the store.

Have a Batgirl in a bank safe. Am considering selling my 2011 MINT Submariner Date and updating to the NIB Batgirl. It is an exceptionally eye catching watch, Also have a NIB Hulk - but am afraid the novelty of the colour changing dial might wear off fast..but still WADDA WATCH! Which watch would you make your daily wearer? …or even keep the minty SubDate?
I daily my SS Daytona white dial, Seadweller 40mm and a older 36mm Datejust white gold Jubilee. Now considering buying a Batgirl or a SS skydweller jubilee white or blue dial.

I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of Their nkuwan timepieces are of exceptional quality.
I find all the colored bezel GMT models not attractive and look like kiddie toys.
I never liked Pepsi, Batman, Batgirl, Sprite or Root-Beer.
No more red, blue, green and brown colors for me.
Luckily Rolex woke up and released the new GMT with the gorgeous and beautiful Grey/Black bezel model 126710GRNR known as the Bruce Wayne model.
I liked this new GMT so much that I just bought it.
