I did
An alternate "no End" method is to get down to bedrock and dig out a chamber to spawn the Wither in. The surround it with like 20 iron golems. That tends to get the job done. Also spawn in some chickens. Anything killed by the Wither will drop a wither rose, which is also useful. Only problem with this method is the Nether Star can be hard to find in the aftermath. Use F3+B to find it easier.
You can actually get the wither stuck in bedrock without all the golems
And you could quite easily kill it with 5 golems, I've done it once with 3 but then it's up to a big chunk of luck.
Wattles: afraid to fight the wither normally.

I cannot stress this enough; do NOT use an item with knockback or punch on it as it can dislodge the Wither from the platform.
I could have used that information a few months ago 😅, fought him the real way but in the end.. wasn't by any means impossible but far from easy.

True. Me and my sons set this up just as the vid states. He didnt get caught in the Bedrock stone to suffocate and just cut loose causing havoc everywhere. We killed him, but it took a while. And End start isle is totally wrecked. XD

@@Dante.-. search “Wither Bedrock” in RUclips. Silent whisperer has a few videos about a way to glitch it in a special spot in the bedrock near spawn in the overworld that looks super easy, but I’ve been to chicken to try it. I’ve also seen others do the fight in a long tunnel they dug deep in their overworld.

Anyways its not too hard to beat wither without this tricks just go deepslates make a small area summon the wither and kill with the help of smite sword and h powe 5 bow

I like to fill that room with chickens, spawn the wither, then collect all the wither roses they drop when blown up. 😊

If your on bedrock, the best way to beat the wither is, dig out your classic strip mine but at 1 block before bedrock. Then spawn the with at one end and let the wither do all the mining for you. Just run out into the now open hallways grab some goodies and go back into your tunnel. Rinse and repeat then kill once your out of tunnels. If you need some help spawn a bunch of iron golems at the end of the mine.
You are now absolutely loaded with ores and deepslate.
P.s. your gonna need empty chests at the end of the mine.

@Eh......... you can dig the strip mine out first if you want. No one is stopping you. I'm just saying, you should at least spawn a wither in a deepslate tunnel. It will change your whole world I promise.
While more resource intensive I like going by bedrock ceiling of nether and building a platform of obsidian underneath. Summon 5 iron golems after wither. Stand back and let the bo uncers get my nether star. :)

I watch pix too I really like the difference between their styles which is why I now watch both pix and wattles. Pix is much more experienced in presenting a guide and so is generally really good at stacking the info throughout each episode where as wattles is more free form and a little less experienced which allows for more variation within a given topic.
@@nmgg6928I'm not sure it's 'less experienced' as much as it is 'equal opportunity'. It's definitely meant for the average joe and even folks that might be trying it for the first time while showing what it looks like in real world scenarios and applications.

Java version only, you can do similar in the over world in Bedrock

i can verify that as of 1.20.4 on java this still works just fine. Even with a knockback 2 sword and no extra obsidian on the top of the portal the wither won’t get free.

There are alternative Fabric mods for Optifine which are up to date and perform better too. I really suggest you switch to them.

Do enchantments on a sword or axe help obtain the wither skulls quicker? Will definitely try this method. My alternative method was an obsidian cage with iron golms

No, however there is a trick you can do with bedrock in the overworld. Silent whisperer has a tutorial on how to do it.
I'll 2nd the advice to go watch SilentWhisper's video on it.
The short version is that the overworld bedrock on Bedrock is identical in EVERY seed and there is a place very near 0, 0 (like 3-4 blocks away) where there is a 3x3 wall of bedrock that you can build the Wither against and when it summons in, it will be trapped in some nearby bedrock and will smother to death without issue on any difficulty level.

This method does not work on bedrock! You don’t want a loose Wither in your end! Silent whisperer has a tutorial for a easy glitch way to kill the Wither in the overworld in bedrock on Bedrock version.

I tried to kill the wither without putting in obsidian or bedrock and it went good until it got down to half health then it went 50 blocks straight into the ground and all the blocks it broke became items and lagged me down to like ½ frame per second and I hade to swap over to peacefull mode so it would disappear then alot of the items had despawned so it was less lagy so I could pick the rest up and now I just have a huge casm in my world

The Wither is easy I have a colosseum at the very bottom of the map that's covered with water and I could just battle the Wither over and over and over I killed him over 30 times in one sitting the wither is a piece of cake

@@wattlesplaysit didn't according to some people, but That's a big issue with content creator channels. There's two editions, so just as bedrock ed videos are labeled with bedrock in it, java must be labeled the same, Java Minecraft
@@Eh......... I mean, most creators label it Bedrock to make sure people know it's Bedrock. If it isn't labeled, 99% of the time it's going to be Java.

Bow enchantmens infinity vs Mending. You're up against some arguments picking infinity from other influential creators.
Given that enchanted arrows are so much more of a pain to do on Java, it is common for them to prefer infinity.
On Bedrock, however, where stacks of enchanted arrows are so easy, it is common to prefer mending.

So I tried this, and I did It wrong. The end now has a big hole. And I technically didn't even kill the wither, the endermen did lol.

Bedrock this doesn’t work. The wither is pretty bugged and he just digs himself into the dirt. I’ve done multiple tests in a creative world and even if in creative it’s about a 50/50 shot of him just chunkin out the ground and lagging your game pretty hard. Bedrock MC is a joke…
