My favorite Clary and Jonathan/Sebastian (Clonathan/Clebastian) edit I've ever seen. I absolutely loved 2x16 and 2x17. I feel like we're FINALLY seeing book Jonathan come to life and seeing as he's my favorite book character of all time I am SO HAPPY. LIKE YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO STOP SMILING SINCE 2x17. I was so worried the show runners wouldn't have Will portray his character correctly but THIS IS EXACTLY WHO HE IS. And your edit showed the chemistry between the siblings. JONATHAN'S LOSS OF CONTROL WHEN IT COMES TO CLARY. HIS OBSESSION WITH HER AND NEED FOR HER. GOD I FUCKING LOVE IT. HIS INCESTUOUS NATURE IS WHAT MAKES HIS RELATIONSHIP/DYNAMIC WITH CLARY THAT MUCH MORE FUCKED UP BUT SO CAPTIVATING AND CRAZY TO WATCH. IN THE BOOKS HE DOESN'T SEE A PROBLEM WITH LOVING HIS SISTER ROMANTICALLY BECAUSE HE BELIEVES MUNDANE MORALS AND LAWS DON'T APPLY TO THEM BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT NORMAL MUNDANES AND I'M SO GLAD THE SHOW RUNNERS ARE TAKING IT THERE WITH THE INCEST THEME OF HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS SISTER. IF THEY CONTINUE WITH THIS I WILL LOVE THEM FOREVER BECAUSE IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO JONATHAN'S CHARACTER. IT CAPTIVATES HIS MOTIVES AND THAT CLARY IS HIS ONE WEAKNESS. HONESTLY SAME! I got so happy watching 2x17 they are really making him like the book,s I got so scared they wouldn't! They have changed and fucked up so much on the show, thank god they did Sebastian right!
