Agreed. Kinda. Even in the books they develop this amazing friendship of a siblings kind... The show I loved, but now I wanna talk about the books, which I love even so much more obviously. Clary and Alec are a lot alike I feel, that's why they butt their heads so easily... But once they realize they're aiming for the same literal goals they unite and I'm totally loving that. Like ever since they start being friends their relationship is so dynamic and great
I love Magnus and Alec and I know that Clary and Jace belong together but I just love, love, love the dynamic between Clary and Alec... I enjoy seeing the friendship develop - from hatred and being irritated at each other to actually start caring about each other.
Clary is like the little sister Alec never wanted and Alec is like the big brother Clary never knew she wanted. They bickered alot like siblings but eventually they grew to at least tolerate each other. Then she became part of the family. They have grown so much and I love they’re friendship.
