- This is Sr Andrew Lloyd Weber's new Wicked Witch song in The North American Tour of The Wizard of Oz. This is one of four new songs written by him for this version. Jacquelyn Piro Donovan plays The Wicked Witch to perfection! I love her!

I wish that they would film this and show it in movie theaters like they did Newsies. Of course they can't do it while its still running. They should do it right when the is almost done. Then release it when the show is completely done. The touring I mean
Knowing them they will never record the whole thing. They lack the experience and the gall to put the whole thing on RUclips, or even sell it so others can enjoy it

No. This is Danielle Wade from the 2013-14 tour. Sarah plays the role now on the 2015-16 tour. This witch is also from the 2013-14 cast

I agree, this is web ers worst stage production ever, leading up to jitterbug and not doing it, cutting king of the forest so he can add his own horrible songs except wonders of the world is good. I saw it in Seattle and wanted my money back.v

So many Projections... I thought it would be more real....
On the original London production (which I was lucky enough to watch when I was younger,) Dorothy did fly and the only projections used were the twister sequence and the Wizard's face. Apart from that, all the effects were real. It was really good! The original is always better personally.

The toronto performance was better then this. The witch can't act and dorothy actually flew across the stage I don't know why everything is fast pace
I think it's cause it's a tour and they just had to quicken everything to either save money by renting out the theatre.
That's absolutey not true. You don't rent theatres for a start off.
I hate this new version. I understand the story is over 100 years old--- but these songs just don't come CLOSE to the originals. And, they decided to make the lion gay and the Scarecrow and Tin Man are uncomfortable around him! I mean, really?

Yes... the lion does not directly say it, but there are countless references to his sexual orientation. It's extremely unnecessary and inappropriate.

Ugh this is probably just a spin off of the wizard of oz and hopefully not trying to be it exactly cause they failed big time. Ugh they got everyone well mainly the wicked witch so wrong and is a disgrace to Margaret Hamilton who originally played her. I cant even watch this it's so horribly done. I know people will hate me for this comment seeing as the wizard of oz movie itself isnt even accurate to the book. Which I want to quickly add is only because when they made the movie they wanted to make use of the newly found technicolor technology that turned the scenes from back and white to color. Nonetheless I am a wizard of oz fanatic and know everything their is to know about the movie and how it was made ect. All this aside it did look like they put hard work into making this play so I'll give them credit for that I guess.
