As for that Rocket kit that was the first ever Model Rocket i launched we eventually launched it so much that the engine mount finnaly gave out and destroyed itself. i might buy another Riptide rocket however because i miss the old days when i was 7 with my dad out at the park. Good times.
Yes the reason why I purchased it was because a friend had one when I was a kid and remember reading the 80s catalog for them and wishing I could have one, now some 25+ years later I do and launched it with my son which was nice.
The riptide is a very entry level rocket. This video glossed over details and left others put completely. I appreciate the effort but a novice would still be left with questions

Mine lost control and crashed 20 meters away from the launch pad
