Twilight Sparkle is overall an easy character to use. Her wide, wave-like shot usually makes it easy to hit stuff, and her teleport can be used to effectively avoid everything. This is balanced by her magic meter, which will deplete when she shoots or teleports, and will replenish itself when she doesn't. Due to a bug in the AI of some of the bosses, Twilight can trick those bosses into thinking she's dead, and they'll just stay in one place doing nothing.

Unfortunately, there is some slowdown in Discord Stage 2. I guess my computer isn't good enough to play and record it at the same time, but apparently it's only that stage. The rest of the video has no slowdown.
• Navigational annotations are included in the video for skipping through sections of the run. To enable/disable them, click on the Settings button (the gear icon) in the bottom-right corner of the video, and set Annotations to On or Off.
• I included some commentary for this run (though not a whole lot since most of my commentary is already in my run with Mega Pony). You can enable/disable commentary by clicking on the [CC] button in the bottom-right corner of the video. Additional options like font size are available through that button. Note that commentary might cover up gameplay in some areas where the floor is low on the screen (probably most bosses).
• You can also access a transcript of the commentary by clicking on the Transcript button (to the right of the "About", "Share", "Add to" buttons). This transcript is searchable, so feel free to use Ctrl+F to search for specific text.

I love the things you do with the teleporter at some points, even though you keep breaking my bosses. =P Wish I had noticed that before release.

Like in Powered Up, maybe if you play as a pony, Megapony? should be in place of the mare you control. Like him with a cool purple scarf or something

is there a possibility that you could get this game on a gameboycartridge for the gameboy color? i know its an absolutely out of date gameingdevice , but your game would fit quite good into that , or even with way better graphics on a nintendo 3ds? :D i honestly would buy this game , if it would get a release on such a console . i even would pay 40-50€ for that , cause it is well made in my opinion , even if i didnt played it yet myself , but watching this gameplayvideo shows , what a great gamedeveloper you are and what a great gamer mint vanilla is ;D (that with the game developer goes to Khao Mortadios)

I'd probably be scared wittless if you tried doing boss rush for all the mane 6, and mega pone.. You'd probably take all the records. (I only hold one XD)
Wait, when you can change the main pony with a mane six? Do you need to beat the game once?
Yes, you have to beat the game once, and then you will unlock the Extras menu, which has Mane Six Run and Boss Rush.

You have to push fast Up+Attack then Down right away
