🎩Join The Discord! discord.gg/EYQmYejx7U I hope this video actually helped explain some of the settings. If you're new to my channel, "Best Settings" aren't really what I aim for- I want YOU to understand what you're adjusting so that you can tailor your settings to your system. If this helped, please do hit the usual buttons, and thank you all for watching :D Also as I mentioned in text at the intro, this did not take me 4 hours, it was considerably more 😭
I have no idea what I just watched cause I have no idea how computers work. But it sounds like you do and I play tarkov. I want it to run smoother, so I’m gonna watch more of your videos until I figure it out. Thanks man😂
This video is helping me to get better performance FPS on arena breakout. Also, i want to mention that im playing on controller using reWASD and AMD Adrenalin does not recognize the game originally. For some reason, it shows me the reWASD app as a "Hitman Pro" instead. I'm so new to all this that writing this got me with headache already, lol
This helped me out, thank you but what improved my gameplay the most was turning on VR res... 7900 GRE paired with a 11700F max settings seeing a steady 60 FPS in 4k with Radeon anti lag and enhanced sync on.. no stuttering or flickering or tearing.. finally
16:22 Yes, please, test the impact of Instant Replay. I cant tell the difference in Tarkov because the performance is terrible either way and I wonder if the background recording really hits. I'd love to have it on but afraid to use it.
Thanks for this video for AMD it helped so much… I use the AMD clipping software what would you recommend instead of AMD clipping or a video comparing all of the other clipping software. Thank you! Your videos help so much
Thanks for the in-depth video.... gets frustrating watching settings related videos that are leaning only towards Nvidea settings with no mention of AMD settings.
Thank you for the video. Also curious what you come up with if you do the follow up video on latency/framepacing testing. Is there going to be an issue with the vsync/Frame target control trick if running display settings in freesync mode?
very interesting video, i would love to see a tutorial on gpu overclocking/undervolting etc. I have a 7800XT that i have tried to tune several times and seem to fail to understand the basics of manual tuning a gpu
check out yt vids of people overclocking the max frequency of the 7800XT and undervolting to the minimum voltage to get values to set on your own gpu, set your vram timing to fast timings(increasing the vram frequency is meh), put your power limit to the highest it lets you (the card wont necessarily use the extra power, but it now has it if it needs it) and your fan settings are mostly personal preference. Test that in a few games and benchmarks and if you crash up the voltage by 10mV and keep retesting until it's all stable again. In the end you should get more performance, but having the same or better power draw and temperatures
Do you have any recommendations for fixes when you have really decent pc 32gb of ram and sometimes you get pc crashes or even bluescreen just on streets? Rest of Tarkov runs great.
Any thoughts on creating a video on how to handle updating your AMD video drivers? I learned in your Discord it's heavily recommended to use a DDU workflow every time you update!
Would love to see a performance tuning guide for AMD as it relates to clock and voltage. I have a 6900xt and get around 45 fps on streets. It also runs extremely hot at 110c hot spot temp which has forced me to undervolt.
fluid motion frames also pretty much almost disable itself when you move your mouse making it almost pointless unless you already have alot of frames, atleast what I've seen/heard from others testing
First verstion of fluid motion frames are unusable in tarkov. I had massive input lag and freezes. So it basically make game perfomance worse. But i tried second version and they fixed both issues. There is no input lag (at least i didn't feel it), there is no freezes and second version doesn't disable itself all the time. In my case FMF 2 doubled fps and i'm happy with that. It is not available in main version of adrenaline. So you need to download a specific test version on amd site to test it and i highly recommend to do it
Just installed a 7900 GRE and when i load up tarkov i see flashing black pixel blocks in my stash area. ive always played in 1440p but if i go back to 1080p it goes away. Any help? im not sure what setting to fix ive tried eveything i feel like.
I get the same issue, and its on my 3070 Ti. Its not an AMD thing as far as I'm aware. Sometimes it gets triggered by using an upscaler when entering the stash it *seems* like, but I cannot recreate it consistently. If I had to guess, its a bug related to how they handle the outlines when you click on each section of the hideout. Please file a report with the devs from the log of that game session to help it get patched out.
You forgot to mention that you run Adreanalin 24.5.1 which is uncap FPS and AMD with newer versions cap the fps. They have a bug i reported since last year that they screw up on many updates. Im just anoying to report over and over.
for some reason my anisotropic filtering option in the nvidia control panel was trying to apply itself in tarkov and just made it look terrible and impossible to spot things at a distance, so I had to set it to off lol
@@klemintime1452 idk I install my drivers with nv clean install could be an option I selected in there It makes distant things look blurry and weird its a pure negative just to enable it in that instance
They could just drop 1.0 with the new game engine.... yanno... there's that too? And optimization of the game so that older systems can run it at medium settings across the board at 60fps as a standard, on a pc with specs back from 2000-2005 Do that I'll be impressed.
im currently running a 5700 XT and for some reason i dont have the display option in my radeon pannel ( 14:04 ) and was wondering if perhaps anyone knows why? built my first rig 4 years ago and this one 2 did i do something wrong ?

Thank you so much dude! Finally someone who does it with AMD!
As promised o7
thanks for the video, the fps uncap did the trick, 240hz on factory feels amazing.

bro thank you so much for your nvidia control panel video it made my laptop get constant 50-60 FPS on streets thank you bro

Sure! I can look into some alternate methods as I was also going to look at some AMD debloating methods. It'll take me a bit though.

That's INSANE, there's definitely some major thermal throttling there. I'll try my best to make some sort of guide in the coming couple months.
45fps on streets with that beast. I'm screwed next wipe😮
@@klemintime1452 good shout out here and on your live stream. I ended up repasting the card and it now runs at normal temps on high settings or more!
best videos of Tarkov thanks
What’s a good settings setup for 7800X3D and 6700 XT? My cousin uses AFMF and all it does is lower textures and has like no latency
Color settings youd recommend?
fluid motion frames also pretty much almost disable itself when you move your mouse making it almost pointless unless you already have alot of frames, atleast what I've seen/heard from others testing
Yes, that's true. I forgot about that part of it and 100% agree that it degrades its usefulness.

Really? Actually did not know that. I'll look into that and see if there is a workaround.
Thanks Klem, no more AMDip!
i would say it work to up my fps 10 fps avrage so now im up to 30fps avrage.
How well would these settings work with 5900x / 3070 OC ?
A 3070 is Nvidia. This is an amd guide.

ohh yeah
...Did you buy a GPU to make this video?
Average FPS 58.2
damn this is too long ;( even listening in 1.25x basically almost everything is useless?
So turn everything off. Took an hour to say that. Cool cool.
yea he was just yapping
