- I found this new Satriani inspired backing track by Tim last night. Very fun track. Link below give it a try!
Using my modded Charvel SoCal and an old Recto preset on the Axe FX 3 that I haven't used in ages. The #Charvel SoCal has been modded with a custom aluminum pickguard, big brass block, titanium inserts, push in bar, noiseless springs, stainless hardware for the Floyd, raw brass knob and switch tip, kill switch, a gapless 3 way switch and Seymour Duncan Nazgul/Sentient combo. The decided to forgo the usual split coil wiring on this one. It's all humbucker all the time.

Love the pick guard.
Until We Say Goodbye, nice !
This is awesome!
Thank you! I'll check out your backing tracks sometime. 👍
Yes!!!🙌
Killer brother!!!
Thanks Mickey!
No matter the preset or amp sim you use it's still DMN. Sounds great man! And you were right about the auto focus. I had to scrap the Penta Way for now because it kept going from me to the background. I suck at focusing so thought I would try auto even though you told me about what it does.
Thanks brother. And dude nobody cares about the picture stuff on X when it comes to the improv jam. Everybody involved in that is super low key. One guy just shows his DAW screen the whole time so it's all good. Use it anyway.
@@dmnguitarist I know, but for my YT I don't want the focus going in and out all the time. But I already deleted it anyway.
This channel is the best kept secret on RUclips right now for guitarists. It won’t stay secret for long.
@@isledesign I don't know man I lost four subs just since I posted this video so... it might stay secret a while longer. 🤣
I appreciate you guys that hang around though! 🤘
@@isledesign You haven't seen nothing until you have seen DMN playing in person. He was a major influence on me above "popular professional" players.
Hell yeah man the tone is stellar! Nice whammy work... There's nothing quite as reliable as a good Floyd Rose. I don't think I've seen this guitar yet. I'm still hung up on that Marco Sfogli sig.
Funny enough I just saw Satch and Vai last week in concert. Absolutely hands down THE MOST SHRED ever lol
Thanks homie! I've had this SoCal for a long time now. I think it was the third one in the collection. I had it tuned down for a while and I rarely use the low tuned ones for improv. I wanted to play it more so I tuned it back up to standard for now.
I don't think I ever fully appreciated Satch until I saw him live. His tone is HUGE in person. Every time I've seen him it's just massive sounding. First time I saw him and Vai together I thought Vai was going to be the more impressive one but, Satch had other ideas lol. Dude owned that place all night. Legend.
@@dmnguitarist I had the same expectation honestly, but Satch's live performance was on point! They both dive bomb harmoniced their asses off though. It's cool to see how similar they play when they're playing together
