I think textcontent will lose it value. Young people wants quick answers and no long articels. Google is gone i 2 years and AI and Tik Tok will give are answers
Guitars in the background…I’m in! I was against using AI but as you said, use it as an assistant not as a replacement. So I’ve been using ChatGBT for things like RUclips title ideas and then recreate that in my own language.
Yes, I am known to pick and grin every now and again. :) And ChatGPT definitely works best as an assistant. I think of it like a junior assistant with zero common sense but access to all the knowledge in the world.
Great points, Matt. We’re at the point where simply relying on Google for search feels “basic.” Regardless of how Google could have improved its search engine over time, user search preferences and behaviors were inevitably going to evolve.
After watching your video, I was thinking about a question. After mining the keywords of competitor websites, can the use of AI to reorganize the keywords reduce homogeneous titles and further bring traffic to the official website?🤔 Welcome to speak freely on this issue🤗
Absolutely! The best way to determine if a keyword should be split up is just to Google it side by side with a similar keyword and compare the serps. If more than 4-5 results are the same, it likely has the same search intent
Yes, I see it quite often in the various industries I work with! As long as the content isn’t objectionable to your audience or it’s not a direct competitor, it’s a great strategy.
SEO isn't dead, it's just a LOT more complicated than it was just 3 years ago. That means everyone else is struggling too and if you can master it, you'll out-compete everyone.
Yes, there are shifts and we’ll likely continue to see them in 2025 as a lot is changing. Just a quick favor, Matt-could you create a detailed video on the SEOWallet extension?
your vedios are great man, keep going. wish you could do a vedio in whihc you show us how to create content using ai that actually ranks on google and what to avoid thanks
Thank you for this video I created my personal website to promote digital marketing services : WordPress, SEO, web design, social media management I will target cities in Canada, and I will monetize also using my blog through affiliate marketing. What's the best URL structure for services to create silos and build topical authority for both, services and transactional blog posts. Thank you
Re: 1. Totally agree, but the big G has goofed this up by promoting the wrong things in the SERPS. They better hurry up and get it fixed or they're going to lose a lot of market share. I'm using AI and having folks read the articles (experts on the topic) and none have even mentioned AI.
@thebikeracer the problem is when business owners see AI like a limitless new toy that they can use to pollute the SERP with hundreds of boilerplate/thin content. That’s the part of the AI issue that I think won’t be sustainable
This video is solid, but the views are surprisingly low. Have you thought about enhancing your thumbnails or editing? Are you handling it all yourself, or working with a team?
Dwell time is a huge ranking factor? That's a lie, that can be easily manipulated. Also content on its own is not king as much as Google claims. Write amazing mind-blowing content on some website with no authority, how can it get backlinks if no-one sees it?
I've tried using AI for copywriting, it just keeps saying the same thing over and over 'stunning _____ that drive results' Non-stop, I even walked through my local leisure centre and saw a big poster saying 'driving results' and I was like "yeah that is AI" lol
Our fast evolving search landscape is creating weird and wonderful niche services/opportunities. The stale "keyword/competitor/content" approach is saturated. However, this saturation is gifting innovative minds alternative paths to success. I think of it as an emerging decentralization ecosystem. Because of new tools, I am able to build robust and harder-to-beat content strategies that yanks my clients out the red ocean, into the blue ocean. Just avoid creating more "space junk"...and you'll be just fine.
Your video is excellent but your thumbnail is so simple if you want I can better design your thumbnail because I am expert so do you want to design thumbnail? 🎉🎉
Let me know your thoughts on these trends. 👇🏻 What do you think 2025 holds for the SEO industry?
Can you send a link to that maze post in the description?
@mattkenyonseo great video🎉

"AI as an assistant helping us write, not as a writer we assist" hits home really hard. Love the insights on this video!
@danielyu3862 not gonna lie I was pretty proud of that line 🫡

Great video. Will I get hit with any copyright by embedding another person's RUclips video on my blog?
Great video. Your totally right SEO is more now than just sticking an article up on Google and waiting for the clicks. Some great pointers Matt 👍
Exactly! Thanks for watching
Great video Matt, keep it up!
Thanks man, I love your stuff! (Follow you on twitter) :)

Very interesting video. I haven't seen anyone embedding someone else's RUclips videos in their blogs. Is that really a thing? Is it okay to do?

Great video, Matt!
Thanks! I love Surfer! :)

Very true
Is there a way of embedding videos without slowing down your site?
@@georgiaroberts most embedded videos don’t slow down page speed in my experience, but that’s anecdotal and I’d need to do more testing

Thanks for watching. I’ll take a look at SEOWallet
SEO is very cool. Thanks for the video. Very Interesting.
Agreed, and thanks for watching!
I love your content.
I hope you'll offer more in the future.
thank you.
Thanks for watching! More is certainly coming soon
Thanks Alan Ritchson 😄
Wow, high praise!
Obviously the most important part of this video is the Mario Kart Wii matchmaking music in the background
Heck yes, dude. Was waiting for someone to notice :)
How can you use copyrighted track without getting a copyright strike? I want to do this but I get fkd instantly by algo.
Love from India sir 😊

@@mattkenyonSEO I agree. But it's a HUGE time saver if used correctly. We'll see how Google pulls out of the mess they created with the new CEO.

Very much a dying industry now. Your video didn't mention the rise of zero click searches because of AI overviews.
I've tried using AI for copywriting, it just keeps saying the same thing over and over 'stunning _____ that drive results'
Non-stop, I even walked through my local leisure centre and saw a big poster saying 'driving results' and I was like "yeah that is AI" lol
There are definitely some phrases that it always repeats and it's become very cringe: "crucial, ever-evolving, delve, landscape." etc.

😂😂😂 AI can give human content, with EEAT.
