  • $1550, $2590 for SSDI and the new SGA limit in 2024, Social Security disability
In this video, we are specifically focusing on Social Security disability benefits also known as SSDI benefits. We are specifically talking about SSDI benefits not to be mistaken with SSI which is also a very similar program administered by the Social Security administration. We are talking about the new SGA limits in 2024 and what this means for the beneficiaries. When we talk about SGA, we are specifically referring to substantial gainful activity and how much these beneficiaries are able to earn on a monthly basis without sacrificing or losing SSDI benefits. We are talking through all the details and exactly what you need to know here in this video. Also here on the channel we are often talking about money, benefits, checks, stimulus, stimulus checks, fourth stimulus check, fourth stimulus check update, stimulus check status update and the latest details on money or increases to Social Security benefits for millions of beneficiaries who need extra money right now.

For the ones that are able to work this is really important information to know. Thank you for letting everyone know what their limits are without jeopardizing their benefits. May God continue to bless you and your family and all of us here in this community and country ❤.

Hey Matt I am on the volunteer try going back to work. So for 9 months I can make as much as I want and I still get my ssdi check and on the 10 th month they evaluate my income. And I will probably lose my ssdi. I will average over $5000.00 a month and still get my whole ssdi check. Hope I can last going back to work. Hope it works out and I can get off of ssdi and out of poverty almost lost my house because my income over last few years just did not cover everything. So I am trying to go back to work and stay working. Hopefully I am good enough and works out for me. Fingers and toes crossed. Some time I really struggle with work but so far I am doing it

I've been on SSDI for about seven 7yrs and have been working part time for about 5yrs. Things have been working out fine until my boss accidently put me over just this month. He forgot about the 3 paychecks for march. First time it ever happened and now I'm panicking. Will I be kicked off of SSDI right away because of this one time I went over 1550?

I draw S.S.D.I. and this scares me if they take what I'm getting each month and this is all I draw and I'm barely making ends meet as it is now..wow ! I will be homeless if this happens, I don't draw enough as it is already. I pray they help us all that are needing extra money cuz we don't get enough to make end meet as it is. People are struggling to make it cause everything is going up, including rent, groceries and necessities. We worked and paid in so we should get more help ! I don't even draw enough so yes any amount more we can get would certainly help as long as they don't take what we drawing each month. This is getting very scary 😱😢

I think it's great that you believe in Jesus Christ but you're missing the point. Believing in Jesus Christ is not about receiving money. It's about spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ so people can turn away from the wicked ways so God can accept them as one of his blessed children. Jesus Christ wants us to spread the gospel to help save souls so they don't go to hell for eternity. It's not about receiving money.

stop scaring people on the over the trial work period topic,,, if you earn over the 1550 per month you DO NOT lose your benefits,,, you trigger the 9 month window of SGA where you can earn any amount you want and still keep your benefits,,,, if your going to make a video like this, be clear on all the facts and stop scaring people.

I drew SSDI in the late’80s-‘90s for being legally blind (all kinds of problems including severe nystagmus), but the payments ended when I got a job for a government contractor. I’m still there but I’m 63 now and my vision isn’t getting any better, now have floaters from retina issues. I’m sure the requirements have tightened since I was a approved in 1988. I think I’m going to try and apply again.

Correct me if I'm wrong cuz I'm bad in math. If i get 16 dollars per hour, and I work 20 hours per week, i would get 1,600 dollars so thats considered sga? Working 20 hours is not even a lot.

I have a daughter that is on SSDI when she was growing up she decided she wanted to be on her own at 16. She hardly worked because she didn't want anyone telling her what to do even though she could. I dont think its right that I had to file for my Social Security at 62 and she almost was getting what I got. Her not working at all and filed for SSDI it took her a few tries but she managed to get approved, I retired in 12-2021 after working 37 years and I get a little over $1000.00 a month i feel people getting more than me is not fair.

It doesn’t help to call Ssa because they will say income is based off gross income snd if you don’t go over that hours don’t matter

A month but if your leagley blind in both eye you can earn no more then 1550. A month.

I agree that our lord is coming soon. The Bible tells us that. When all our leaders get to answer for their mistakes they won’t be able to make an excuses and just not caring. Unbelievable.
