In keeping with the holiday theme and recognizing your appreciation of Geoff, their versions of "Baby It's Cold Outside" and "White Christnas" are both "Geoff dominant" songs that you should NOT miss. Even if you choose not to film a reaction to them. They will give you ample opportunity to fan-girl over Geoff. Lol. The other guys are great in them too. Another really good one is "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem." Also here's a cheat sheet for their names Geoff (pronounced "Jeff") bass Layne beatboxer Eli (pronounced like the girl name Ellie) tenor J. None baritone Earl (no longer with the group :( ) high tenor
I always love your reactions; you two are so much fun to watch. I really think you'd like their "White Christmas" & "Baby, It's Cold Outside". Both are funny & Geoff takes lead, although of course the rest of the guys are fantastic too! Another great one is "O Little Town of Bethlehem".
I get chills along my scalp when I listen to this. This is one of those songs that makes me truly appreciate how great VoicePlay is as a group. While Rachel, Eli, and Earl were soaring above with all their incredible high notes, Layne, J, and Geoff kept the song perfectly grounded with an understated drum track and a steady undercurrent of perfect baritone/bass harmony. And I love that for this song instead of impressively distracting bass notes, Geoff sang his solo lines in a warm soft tone that's gorgeous in a totally different way. If you like the vocal runs in this, you should check out VoicePlay's cover of "This Christmas"! ruclips.net/video/5-FXg7y1mpU/видео.html
Well, the late Kenny Rogers invited Home Free to join him on video singing Children Go Where I send Thee, and I think it turned out pretty good. Home Free posted it on their channel, but Kenny put it on his last Christmas album.
Try the Voctave version. Rachel Potter has a lovely voice, but Voctave's Soprano II, Tiffany Coburn, absolutely SLAYS this song, and you have to hear to believe how long she holds the last line of the song.
Oh man, I love you girls' reactions XD Always awesome to see someone enjoying something that much (especially when it's a thing I love that same amount, haha)
