We stayed in Casa Piscina, Residential Las Burganvillas 43, Calle Inglaterra, Playa Blanca
Check in on arrival was very simple and quick. I pre-booked a mini bus taxi for the 8 of us to transport us so we didn't have to wait. The Villa is easy to access with a key but there is also a combination key safe externally so you don't have to take the keys out and about with you. There is also an alarm system
Optima Villas leave you a welcome pack which was a really nice touch as we all wanted a cold drink on arrival. This allowed us to delay going to the supermarket until later in the day and get settled in
This 4 Bed 3 Bath sleeps 8 people with air-conditioning to all bedrooms and features a games room with table tennis and an outside pool table
There are sea views from the terrace and the outside offers plenty of room to spread out, with a stunning private swimming pool (measures: 8.50m x 3.55m, depth 1.00m to 1.50m), sunbathing area and shaded al fresco dining table. Casa Piscina is ideal for families with children, thanks to the pool deck’s special non-slip flooring
Casa Piscina has a fully equipped Kitchen with a large Fridge, Freezer, Oven & hob etc. There is a large vaulted Lounge and separate dining area
The separate upstairs TV room also features a PlayStation console
Linen with beds made up on arrival is ideal and towels for the bathroom and pool are provided
The Supermarket Cash Diplo is across the road and is very reasonably priced and will have everything you'll need
There is a BBQ outside which was used several times

30-40 minute drive from the airport
60 minute walk to Marina Rubicon
20-25 minute walk to AquaLava Waterpark
30 minute walk to Playa Flamingo Beach
30 minute walk to Playa Blanca Beach
35-40 minute walk to Restaurant Playa Dorada & Beach
(these are how long it took us, rough timings for you)
Taxi's were between 4-6 euros for everywhere we went and arrived promptly after ordering from the villa.
I highly recommend this villa and Optima Villas service was outstanding and we were so pleased with our choice.

The villa looked amazing. We are due to go to Playa Blanca next February. Really hope we can find that supermarket. The prices look really reasonable x
It was a beautiful villa. You’ll have the best time, lovely to have something to look forward to and getting away in the colder English months is always good!
i spotted this complex of villas on James Villas but i'm going solo and there's no flights, you have to book your own flights [and transfers[ and, as i've never done a solo summer holiday before, i'd prefer it was all pre-arranged for me, i always seem to spot the gaps in the market :(
[i mean, there are websites that do villas + flights + transfers, but none going to this specific estate of purpose-built villas "Las buganvillas" at playa blanca]
I totally understand your reluctance as before this is always booked a package. The villa company are excellent and held the villa whilst I booked the flights then I arranged a taxi transfer. Was much easier than I thought.
Much too packed in , far better villas over near calla irelanda ,, also better to get your hire car from the airport , do away with taxis etc
