@@AzureAcademy dean we know for sure people are more engrossed in getting to know about the topic which is fair but your video edits are serious serious contributor in your content which looks so simple I know hard to execute but they are so seem less and beautifully done 👍 that part deserves a whole lot credit as I have not seen many people doing it so well and because of these you are able to explain things which other wise will take 30 mins for a normal person great great job 👏. WOW since 2019! Then you have seen the how I have grown and changed in my editing and presentation over time! My editing style is intended to keep viewer engaged as much as possible though out the video so you can learn everything I'm presenting and enjoy the content while learning. Thanks for the feedback, that is really great to hear!
The old agent only took one cloned and tweaked policy to ensure that all vms/session hosts deployed from your compute gallery were automatically onboarded to insights and you didnt have to worry about it. The new way looks like it involves at least 3 policies and likely an initiative to make sure they work in tandem. I do wish when something new came out it was either better or easier than the thing it replaced but im struggling to see how this solution satisfies either criteria
How did you get around this? Did you have to create a seperate policy for each DCR? We have several templates generated by the script (extensions_dcr, windows_dcr, sqlassessment_cl_dcr, etc..). Also the dcrname (defaultvalue) seem to be switched (i.e. windows_dcr_arm_template.json = "MSAA-DCR-extensions" and extensions_dcr_arm_template.json = "MSAA-DCR"), is it just me or should these be the opposite way around? {Thanks in advance}
You can only associate 1 DCR to a policy…do you have to choose in advance if you need more than 1 DCR and what shared characteristics the target systems has in common
Hello, There is no Solution (see min. 1:40) in my screnario. My VM's are "onpremise vm's" in a private cloud. So far as i can see: Azure do'nt support such a architecture after Aug 31 . Is'nt it ? :(
If you don’t have any solutions attached to log analytics…that’s OK But if you have a solution that does not have a new feature to replace it with…let me know what it is
