I've had one for a few days. I'm a bit disappointed by the ignorance of the designers... First of all i managed no way to remove the date from screen and videos, and I have to crop videos every time... it's really unacceptable that the firmware is so bad. Second thing the USB connector is covered by the tripod socket, making it impossible to use with external power on a tripod. Third, the buttons are not sufficiently raised to be found by touch, much less by wearing gloves. I must glow rubber caps on shot and zoom buttons, to raise them. And finally the adjustment of the focus is smooth, it has no grip not easy to focus with gloves... i must bend focuser with adhesive gummed tape. Not good... it is not an instrument designed for real night external use... bad choices. Least but not last, SD card corrupts every time i put it in again... and must be formatted every time... very worst... hope in some firmware upgrade. Too bad because the hardware is good. But the construction is terrible. PS: some idiot decided the bundle... no charger... no charger? you gave me two batteries, but charger is optional??? such a stupid thing... i cannot charge the second battery while using the first... doh! :) And the SD slot is mounted upside down. the notch for the nail is on the wrong side...unbelievable
Am I right in guessing that the mic socket will record onto a video being shot ? The hot shoe slide grip will take a shotgun mike which will be great for birdsong/critter rustling sounds...... I have a Rode mic that will be good for that ... if so? ..... A hot shoe rail would be useful for a shotgun mic mount as well as a led light as you said too. Looking very tempting as they seem to jump from 150 ish then restart at a few thousand for serious stuff. Nice vid 🕵🏻............... update, It looks like an onboard mic not a aux in socket so I would need to hot shoe my Olympus LS-P4 on top to record the surrounding sounds but that ok to add in editing.
Haven't smartphones and color television already done this for so many people? There's a reason why people's circadian rhythms and the amount of sleep people are getting has steadily decreased in the last 60 years.
Untrue. At the top top end now the government are starting to use colour analogue nvg. They basically digitally process analogue images fast enough to run 0 latency colour night vision. The reason colour hasn’t been used before for SOF is because colour is a lot simpler in digital nvg, and digital nvg is not suitable (yet) to be used in serious combat. Phosphor tubes have always been superior to digital in 99% of ways, except the fact they come in green, white or orange n that tends to be it.
"Great price...31% off..." So why are you making me go to a separate web site just to find out what the price is? Typically businesses don't put the price in their ads because it'll scare off potential buyers before the salesperson gets them cornered!
The Akaso Seemor 200 is a bargain. I have it and its awesome.
I can't believe how digital technology has changed scopes.. amazing stuff..

I was thinking about getting this but, the infrared light is a spot light. It needs a more of a flood light.
The good thing is that the Seemor has both options integrated.
Be good for night golf. Sneak on the course for a few holes. LOL

I believe Syonics was first.
The Akaso SeeMor night vision binoculars would be an ideal gift on everybody's wishlist 👍👍👍👍👍
Color NVGs would degrade your natural night vision adaptation. There's a reason why military NVGs are soft ambient lighting.

Military NVG are not infrared visors.. they are light intensifiers. Totally different machines.

@samueljames8026 I've been out for a minute so I'll concede a hearty maybe lol!
It’s very cheap! One of the best budget night vision goggles.
Big foot is not safe now
Yes he is. Haven't you figured it by now? Bigfoot is just blurry and no matter what camera is used, he will always be blurry.

Akaso Seemor NVG
👍😎🍺🍩,
I like my night vision like I like my women, with big as eyes.
