- Tyler Hubbard recently spoke to People Magazine in an interview where he admitted he was not interested in a Florida Georgia Line reunion. Tyler Hubbard did not shy away from the question as he went into detail about why Florida Georgia Line is in his rearview. Florida Georgia Line has had quite the controversial saga ever since their split and Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley seem to be putting that era behind them.

If politics sever a friendship, it wasn’t much of a friendship to begin with.
I understand Bryan. I care about my lefty friends but it’s just exhausting to be around them on a regular basis.
Yep it’s a constant baby sitting of a child or a mentally ill
Yeah, Ya get real tired of all the viruesignaling bs when ya just wanted to make some good music and have a good time. Simple. 🍻🤠🎸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Give em time. The Eagles said that, Hell would freeze over, before they toured again, thus the tour was titled, When Hell Freezes Over, tour.
Doesn't even matter
I want nothing to do with him. If that’s the truth of what I hear forget it I’ll never listen to him again.
@@theseniorbarbershopcollett2108 which him? Brian or Tyler?
I went to the Hell Freezes over tour in 94. Should’ve known that wouldn’t be their last tour
@@user-pq6is8um6h right!
I think Brian is a better singer and talent. I think Hubbard wanted to be less country and Brian is a Country Guy.
I didn’t even know they had broken up. 🤪
🤪
politics has broken up families so this is not a surprise
Who cares if they break up? I forgot about them a long time ago.
I like Tyler album he just released
But I’m ready for Brian Kelley album 💿 😎👍🏾
Florida Georgia Line. Yyyeeeaaahhh, I took a piss there one time.
This is Morgan’s world and Tyler & Brian are now living in it.
But FGL and Hardy propelled him.
Morgan wallen sings crappy pop music , go listen to real country music
In 2017, Morgan Wallen, with a writing assist from HARDY, released his first hit song called "Up Down," featuring Florida Georgia Line.
7 years later, we are truly living "Up Down" because Morgan and HARDY are the stars while FGL aren't even "holding it down here in BFE!"🤣
FGL brought MW into the world
Please put your differences beside and behind you guys, love you guys, you make the most amazing music, God bless you all.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
Love both of them.
I don’t honestly believe Brian Kelley‘s new song Kiss My Boots has anything to do with his relationship with Tyler Hubbard. I feel like it’s on a more personal level, but it just happened to fall about the same time that they break up dead. They are both one of our artists and we will continue to support them.
FGL was great!!! They are Both very talented Men. If you listen to their individual music… I wish them both success!
I seriously couldnt care less.
Ditto
Not a fan & never have been 🤷🏻♀️🫤
Look can y’all just listen to them separate?
Neither are from anywhere close to the fl or ga line and their musical talents are limited at best. Idk who they sucked to get signed but they ain’t no brooks n dunn
These guys are probably going to find out that they make more money together than they do with their "solo projects". As far as what their political views are, I'm going to have to use something Jody Johnson said during one of his concerts. He said, "I think we should go back to doing it like they did in my grandparents day, you don't talk about who are going to vote for, and you damn sure better not ask." We need to get back to supporting our country and each other and not politicians as much. It is such a pet peeve of mine for entertainers/celebrities to think just because they have some fame now ppl suddenly care about what their political beliefs are. I go to you to be entertained, that's it. You want to use your fame to spread awareness on something like sx trafficking and other horrors like that or a certain illness that's great but stop trying to use your fans to gain votes for your presidential candidate i think its cheap and tacky. That's just my opinion and I'm not saying that FGL did this exactly, but i just think it played to big a part in their careers.
Brian was the one who wanted a solo career and he got it Tyler had nothing to do with it he was just there and respected Brain's decision
Brian wanted to do both by Tyler said one or the other and made the ultimatum...could have been label pressure as well....even so it wasn't all Brian. Don't worry...they will do reunion tours one day mark my words.
@@johnwilkes7827 I am sure it was all Brian and I hardly doubt they will reunite
Eh, it's not like this is one of the great duos in Country music. Or whatever passes for Country music these days.
Never cared for this duo or either of them solo. Bye FGL
Amen to that.
Country music is better off with an FGL reunion.
T-Hubb, this better be an April Fool's joke! In the 10 years, FGL toured and made music, I never got to a concert/tour! Watching this video, I am REGRETTING it BIG!!! Hope everything is ok with the 2! As Big Kenny of Big and Rich says, Peace and Love!
Florida Georgia line please get back together I loved your music
Sounds like Tyler’s version of his story the timeline doesn’t add up.
Really, who cares ?
“Nobody cares about this topic of a video I clicked on, watched and decided to comment on. Omg no one cares about this”
I fill like when they was together all you mostly heard was Tyler on the songs they wrote an sang together you hardly ever heard Bryan an he has a great voice. I like Bryan's new music.
This video gave us nothing lol
Yeah Tyler might have said “he doesn’t want it back” but that still doesn’t mean they will never get back together Charlie Simpson was the same and Busted was split for 10 years before getting back together.
Such a shame when their music is off the charts 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Tyler’s music is practically the same anyway, he was the good part of FGL
I’m 70 and love you guys. ❤
@@Borderlinegoldenretrieverthen how come all his songs aren't that great since they broke up?! 5'9 is like maybe a top 20 FGL song quality wise? The rest suckkkkk!
I like both of them
How will they divide up their sequined jeans?
Bahahaha
FGL I miss that band a lot more then ever please come back as a band when the time comes I want them back together so badly
U would know that they both lv god becuse of their song holy
Dang, this is almost as bad as Elvis dying. It's gonna be hard to move on after this.
😅😅😅
Omg, love it! 😆😆😆
😂😂
Therapy...?!
Biden boy wants to be alone
Agree
So true
I always wondered which one is the Biden lover???
Lmao
Too bad he doesn’t have a Biden Bible to read😢
Who cares, Tyler Hubbard was the voice of FGL anyway.
Good my ears couldn't stand anymore of their chipmunk music
Thank you well said
Agreed.
Who cares they suck
Tyler Hubbard's solo music sounds stale and is nothing special. He should change his style to something fresh. The radio is playing his new song and it sounds like his other songs. I have no desire to listen to his music.
Finally they going on tour next year together finally yeah 😃😄 some times it better to go different ways to grow ten years together is a long time people grow and change that ok some times it's happens they are growing separate that ok some time you have to have time a part to do the things you want in life when it time to come back together they will know it one day they will be together one day in the next 20 years let them be a part for a while they need time to decide what best for them one day they will get over their problems to then they are better a part I was a fan of them together now I not really fans I will be their fan once again when they stop fight and get back together
Thank God Florida Georgia Line is over
Jonathon Taylor here. It would be awesome to hear Florida Georgia Line back together.
Your video image shamelessly puts Hubbard's quote out of context, and just comes across as inherently dishonest.
Remember: it was Brian Kelley who initially decided to launch a solo career: which Hubbard was supportive of. We may not know the full context surrounding their relationship both personally and professionally and perhaps still won't for a long time, but what remains evidently clear in interviews is Hubbard has remained sympathetic of Kelley's decision and there's no love lost at least on his end. Kelley may feel differently as evidenced by the end of the "Kiss My Boots" video depicting him carving a peach while flaunting his Florida belt buckle, but even that is murky.
Everything they did was a hit. Hope it works out.
It's funny you say they both are having successful solo careers. I hear hit songs from Tyler Hubbard all the time. I heard one song of Brian's a year or two back in a music video and haven't heard anything else since. I think it's pretty clear who has a successful solo career and who doesn't. I don't blame Tyler one bit for not wanting to go back to that BS. I can't say I was ever an FGL fan because of their constant pushing of the Hip Hop/ Country agenda in their music. I'm not a big fan of Tyler's stuff even now, but I can listen to it without wanting to change the station. I couldn't even name one of Brian's songs outside of the one mentioned in this video.
And that was pretty much predicted by almost everyone.
In all honesty: I've liked Kelley's solo material thus far more than Hubbard's (although "Kiss My Boots" is the worst song between the two overall in my opinion). "Sunshine State Of Mind" throughly impressed me with how he successfully came up with a sound that was distinct from Florida Georgia Line's signature sound: especially on tracks like "Beach Cowboy" and "Highway On The Water". Kelley's material has also been more country than Hubbard's overall to date.
But here's the thing: while I like Kelley's vocal well enough in how warm and vaguely reminiscent of Joe Nichols' it is, it is nonetheless also pretty anonymous. Hubbard's vocal is far more distinct and recognizable love or hate, and so it isn't the least bit surprising he's been having the far more successful solo career thus far. Also: while I prefer the way Kelley's material is produced over Hubbard's overall, I will say Hubbard's is far more danceable and immediate whereas Kelley's is comparatively more Chesney-like in how reflective and laid-back it is. Which there's absolutely nothing wrong with of course, but it also lends to less accessible radio singles than Hubbard's.
Also: I'm pretty sure the hip-hop influence in FGL's music came more from Hubbard than Kelley.
Notably, however, Hubbard's newest solo album doesn't really have any of that hip-hop/rap influence. It was fairly minimal on his debut solo album too, but you still heard smidges of it in the pre-chorus of "Dancin' In The Country" as well as "35s". On "Strong", though, it's conspicuously absent. So I can see "Strong" go down a bit easier among those who like FGL's melodic sense but get put-off by the rap influences.
I always found Hubbard’s vocals annoying!
Brian's songs are far better and are closest to country. If you like pop, then Tyler is your guy. I far better enjoy the country of the two. That's Brian in a landslide.
@@skandalmkdaniel3029 I've liked Brian's output more overall thus far myself. I personally think "Kiss My Boots" was a terrible single choice for him that I believe only hurts rather than helps his career prospects both in how dated it sounds as well as whiny lyrically (I think "Dirt Cheap" would have worked much better for him between its warm production, mid-tempo energy and swell and its very relatable theme)...........but Kelley has the best and most interesting songs overall: especially "Beach Cowboy", "Highway On The Water" and "Party On The Beach".
I will say Hubbard's second album is better than his first, to me. My main criticism with his first album was how it didn't have any standout moments lyrically. It was all polished, anthemic, semi-energetic but still middle of the road pop country. His second album is also pop country of course, but it also has some standout moments to my ears: especially "'73 Beetle" and "Take Me Back". He gets more vulnerable and descriptive on those songs, and the production is also more country as well. I enjoy my fair share of pop country too personally, but I definitely prefer it when either of them lean harder into country than usual like they did on songs like "Dirt", "Speed Of Love" and "While He's Still Around" before, and I hope Hubbard continues building further on that moving forward. It's digging deeper and getting more personal and telling more stories where he could ultimately close the gap with Kelley in terms of solo output, but as of right now I agree Kelley's is the more interesting of the two.
I live on the fl ga line and have properties on both sides and we don’t listen to that shit here

Tyler is far more talented than the other guy.
Bryan Kelly is so much better on his own !!!
Nope!
Really, he sucks big time. His voice is not good enough
He used to come into my work in Daytona frequently and sometimes Tyler would be with him…I have more respect for Tyler from the encounters I’ve had and that’s all I’ll say

Tyler says he’s a Christian, but supports Biden… 🤷🏻♂️ how can that be?
He’s has a liberal wife😂😂

Tyler Hubbard
WHAT? I didn't know President Biden liked country music. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

They are not country so there's no reason why country cast should even be talking about them.
BK ALL THE WAY
I didn’t even know the other guy (the back up) the lead singer made that band.
They need you grow up
Tyler needs to stick to hip hop he can’t sing no country lol😂
Love these guys. Don't let politics get in your way. I hate Biden and Trump and whoever is running this government. My son age 31 could do better. Geeze.
Most fans genuinely don't give a shit about their politics. They just want good music above all else at the end of the day. Hopefully they can reconcile soon enough.

Brian’s patriot…
Who cares. FGL isn’t even country anyway. You can say you’re a country artist, like dan and shay, but y’all aren’t country artists. Go to the pop genre
Sounds like one of sold their soul!
Yeah. Hubbard.
They gay and woke anyway
What's so bad about being gay? I have two gay uncles and love them both!
