Tip for u bro At 3:50 instead of zooming in to get the beginning of the sample u can click on the icon with the spanner/wrench and then click on 'trim side noise'. It will keep the tail of the reverb too
Thanks for the tutorial 🙏🏽 I’d like to share a tip for you. At 3:50 when you want to export the final sound you should click in Edison next to the stop button where it says “On Input” and put “On Play” so it doesn’t record anything before the signal passes through the Master. And it also automatically sets a marker every time the loops begins. I did It like this for a long time, but I recently found that the best way to export a sound is by consolidating a section of the playlist. You put the sound on the first hit of a pattern and highlight the playlist for as long as you want to record the sound, then you go in the playlist menu, ‘tools’, ‘consolidate playlist section’, ‘from selection start’. Now you can choose the best settings that you want your file to be exported. Be sure to check on ‘Enable insert effect’, otherwise you’ll export the original sound.
All you really have to do to change a drum sound is use compression or transient shaping with a little eq. Two different compression styles make a drum sound completely different.
Yoooo 😂 this whole time I been doing this during my mixing process, after I make the beat . I thought it was normal till I purchased some real drum kits
YO OCEAN! you know whats driving me CRAY! THE PAN LAW in these daws. When making a DRUM SAMPLE "0db".. how are you going about this? When making the drum sample inside Studio One and then importing it goes -3db quieter?? Have you experienced this? I'm trying to have my Mono Samples coming in at 0db.
@@prodbydylan5283 I don't have any social Media for my music stuff at the moment, but I work on all. Maybe you could give me your Email adress, than I could send you my drumkit before I come Out With all my stuff. I think I will need three days to finish it.
I'm making a drum loop kit and I've all the loops ready but i don't know how to make the cover thingy and how to put it up on a website so anyone can download it.
There is a Normalize button in edison while your recording it in . Just click that and it bumps the sound back up to where you had it . I try keep mine over 6db
I never really use it - literally only for sound design, but tbh it seems a lot easier. I'm too far gone with logic to switch, but I think actually beatmaking there is better, but arranging tracks in logic is easier
It's normal, don't worry you're not doing anything wrong! Every time you adjust something, the volume either increases or decreases. You can raise the volume manually or normalize it.
The FL studio Channel Rack automatically loads samples in at around -6db. Also, the piano roll note velocity default is around 75% as well. It makes your samples sound much quieter which can be frustrating, but every sample is subject to this so it's an even playing field for Drum Kit producers.
Title should be how to make a recycled sound pack. If you wanna make your own sound pack, you would need to do some field recording.. And people please dont sell shit you recycled like this, thats the 1st step towards failure.
How come all my sounds loop over and over when i press play and only play in one octave ? I changed the time stretch down and i turned off loop points . But how do i save them so i dont have to do that to every sound i make ? No kits i downloaded do that only the one i jus made
U don’t talk about how to save it and make the drum pack you just talk about how to make them sound different. Maybe talk more about the aspect on where to click and stuff to save the pack

You can get a mic and record your own sounds too. Even a flushing toilet can be useful.
That is what im gonna do
lmao I’ve actually used the sound of a toilet handle in a beat
😂
The cap of a Pringle’s is a great perc tbh

4:17 we've got the clap!
Is this not copyright infringement by regurgitating/resampling other sounds?
Okay this was my question. So producers take other drum sounds and customize? Appreciate this man. I'm going to personally make the sounds myself
It’s a good starting point- but if you know how to it would be better to go from scratch
@AXELERATE serum
@@prodbyocean from scratch u mean recording the sound yourself from a mic or another source like a video on youtube from a vlog(ex)
"Now that we've got the clap" in all seriousness thank you
Damn he really came a long way in a short period. Deserved
Can Logic Pro X subscribers get this tutorial too?
I am tripping or the mouse glitching😂😂😂😩 nice video btw
So i have a snare... plays a clap

EMYNIDE BEATS So the stock drums in your daw you can then mould, change and make them your own and then release them in a sample pack?

Thank you for teaching me g
I recognize that Tram-perc from Skepta, I never would have thought it would be from a tram. It sounds awesome with the background noise too!
Yh for real - he did a good job finding that
Gotta love Amsterdam 😉
Hey. Can I just add a region in Edison, then -> Export Region -> For Sample Use? Instead of cut and paste in new edison?
Where can i download that pack?

Atlantic makes sense seeing how his producer name is ocean
And how do you do it in Logic Pro?
It's the same in any other daw
you should first learn your DAW before you try to make and sell customized drumkits
Can I make a loop with ds same think??

Nope

Thats kinda stealing because thats not your drums. Learn how drums are made from white noise or synth.
are you being serious?
Can you do the same without fl studio?
It's the same in any other daw
Wait so Ocean used to work in FL? Lmao
ya take a soundkit to make soundkit !? wtf. I think ya should really try getting into drum synthesis and sampling and recording omg.
