Nicely done. May be worth rerunning the benchmarks after a few curing cycles for the PTM to 'bed in' completely.

Great work, thanks for the video!
I repasted my SLS2 according to it, and even splurged a little by putting some K5 pro in between the copper heat pipes over the CPU to bridge the gap with the shims. Before the repaste, the SLS2’s CPU would be constantly hitting 104C when playing overwatch.
Now after the repaste, my CPU is around 80C when playing overwatch (though now my GPU seems to run a little hotter).

Interesting to see significant results, seems that Microsoft needs to do better in terms of pasting. Also interesting that the CPU seems to take more power now at the cost of the GPU - maybe dedicated heat pipes left and right without overlapping would have been the better choice. Or a third shared heatpipe with a third fan, blowing out at the back where the hinges are.
I kinda want to like the SLS 2, but
    - old and inefficient CPU, at launch we already knew about significantly better ones coming in less than 3 months
    - massive price increase for a bit more RAM (500 bucks for 16GB, that's insane)
    - ancient and mediocre LCD panel that has exactly zero HDR effect, advertising it as a 10bit HDR panel is a joke (1 dimming zone), should have been OLED or mini LED from the start
    - heat getting exhausted at the front towards your hands/palms is an odd choice, but probably due to design decision of the display hinges
    - big difference in performance between battery power and with power from cable
    - gets hot very quickly
    - device uses more than 100w under full load and the USB port cannot deliver that since Microsoft cheaped out on the potential for 140w charging, ergo you are forced to use the original microsoft charger (sux)
    - only low-end GPU availability, a device with this titanic price tag should have a 4060 as minimum, and go up to at least 4070, best up to a 4090 mobile
    - terrible battery life overall
makes it a hard choice for 3000 bucks. I'd love to see a SLS 3 with a modern and efficient CPU, a bigger battery, better pricing for RAM, OLED and move the fans to the back of the device - that would be an awesome product.

It’s literally the same as the previous generation I’ve done mine multiple times for thermal testing

Awesome! What have you found in your thermal testing?
