Very interesting. This is why I always order only one of a product just in case I don't like it, I didn't get all 8 of them LOL. However I love this lipstick formula. The first one I ordered was velvet and it was my perfect Rosy my lips but better shade. I agree butter is not the right name for this. I have that Ioni shea butter lipstick, and it's what I consider to be a creamy formula. The buttery blur is more of a silky matte. This whole line is extremely pigmented. Unfortunately you got a shade that didn't work for you. All of the colors are cool toned which is why I like them. I ended up ordering all but the mauve which I knew would be too light. vampy is my perfect vibrant blue based red. I never noticed that the cap comes off like that, I don't think I have that problem. But I don't take them in my purse so I don't have to worry about that. The thing I love about these lipsticks is they do not seep into my lip wrinkles. And some of them leave a stain behind which is nice. I don't have to wear a lip liner with them and they're non drying. Personally I think they are a steal for the price but everybody likes a different formula.
