Does anyone else see a cute little face with 2 long ears in that foiled design on the acetate on the card in the first example? Face notwithstanding, it’s a gorgeous card😀 Thank you for another very useful tutorial, one that I know I’ll watch more than once...

So, everyone always says put something heavy on the die while it dries. The stamping blocks are not heavy at all, and are never heavy enough for what I use them for. What I did was, way back a long time ago someone, could’ve been you Jennifer. Showed us how to stamp on ceramic tiles from Home Depot. I bought them( the rough looking ones are completely flat on the backs), and I used quite a bit of them (made coaster sets for my kids for Christmas) but I had extras left over. So I took three of them I glued them all together one on top of the other and they are the perfect weight and completely flat on the back and I use those to sit on my dies as they dry. Because, like you, I like to put several together to make them more like chipboard. The tiles, individually are very reasonable.

Jennifer, I mentor/tutor some young girls (ages 5 through 12). Several have expressed a desire to take art in college. I encouraged them but added that it would be beneficial to include engineering. I showed them some of your tutorials and explained your background. Just recently, an adult told me two of the girls told their parents they wanted to be a female engineer!!! My heart was so happy. I thought this would make your heart happy as well! ❤️

As always, beautiful technique and cards. This is another beautiful version of your see through cards you did a couple years ago. I don't have or will have a foiling plate. I do love the foiling on the film. I have heat embossed on heat resistant overhead projector film. I like the look of these cards. I will experiment with heat( minc) foiling. I have used clear embossing powder used with a stamp to heat foil on cardstock. I also have use toner ink. I guess i have some experimenting to do. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Ranger/Tim Holts will release a set again this fall/winter. He said awhile ago that they will alternate years with the 4 sets that came out in ‘21 & ‘22. So this holiday season will be ‘21 release, next year will be the ‘22 release again. Though I have recently seen some at Simon Says Stamp. But Prima also has sprays available, Color Bloom Sprays. And those are beautiful too.
