I was actually really excited throughout the video, It felt like an a movie with difficult start, lucky sequence of events leading to the optimistic present. Keep up the good work. Hyped for your next video.
I really hope your channel gets millions and millions of viewers eventually, great content, great voice and good edition. I hope you really enjoy making this and won't stop anytime soon :)
Thanks for all the great work you do! It's really inspiring to see where companies started, and how they evolved to become the big businesses they are today. Thanks BC
Fantastic video as per usual and really appreciate the amount of research you put into this! It'd be really cool if you checked out the Heinz company next. (PS, for better Search Engine Optimization, you may want to consider putting 'Pokemon Go' first in your tags and in your description somewhere)
your videos are awesome!!!! sooooo much information in such a small time frame, getting rid of the music is a good idea.. I have one suggestion, the tempo of your narration can be a little bit fast to absorb, I find myself having to skip back a few time to full grasp your presentations. could you also present the evolution of the telephone (from start to now). keep up the great work :)
Congrats to 5k subs. Also I think its good that you have no music in the background, you can focus more on the content. Also please do one Video about VW. Keep up your good work.
You always make incredibly entertaining and informative videos. Great work. I would love to hear about Sony since their story seems interesting as well. That was so fascinating and I'd never heard before that, that was why they named jump man Mario. A+ quality
2019 looks like it will be another big year for Pokémon with Detective Pikachu hitting theaters May 10th and another new Pokémon game being made for the Nintendo Switch later on in the year most likely in November.
Would you mind doing a part 2 to this? I'd love to see how things changed due to the giant success of the switch. Not to mention with Pokémon for switch having been announced, I would imagine 2018 will be a giant year for Nintendo.
This was a great video, I think you missed out a few things. Nintendo saved the video gaming industry in 1983. I think most people know the story but the summary is that they checked and made sure that games were of good quality with the "Nintendo Seal of Approval". And that helped the quality of games to get back to the highest level (no E.T. nonsense, yay!).
Actually it was their marketing campaign, it not a game console, but a toy line. They went great lengths to market it as a toy right at the peak of the 80s toy craze.
Great video, subbed. How has Nintendos market cap adjusted following the initial bubble? Any idea if they plan on doing an aggressive acquisition of Niantek?
Since market cap is essentially just shares outstanding multiplied by share value, you can just track Nintendo's stock price: www.investing.com/equities/nintendo-ltd It has come down from its ridiculous Pokemon-induced highs, but it's still up 40% from pre-launch.
Hiya, I've finished all your videos now, they're great! As for a suggestion for the next company, what about Nokia? They're relatively unusual but very well known! Cheers!
Nintendo (and segas) biggest problem was, they didnt switch to CD-Roms(and later dvds). Sega could have, but opted for their own special formatted cd-roms, which killed them.
Rockstar would be great for many reasons: the GTA series, the Red Dead series, the controversy and history of LA Noire, and how they change the gaming industry (specifically the sandbox gaming platform)
while the pc may have been a factor in the slump of consols in '83, it is generally more attributed to the haste and overproduction of titles at the time. What Nintendo did differently was to get its consol and games in the toy section and market respectively
Hi! I really enjoy your videos, very informative! If it's ever crossed you mind, to do a video detailing the history of any video game companies. Blizzard Entertainment is a favorite of mine. Thanks!
Thanks for your video, it was amazing; I hadn´t had any idea about this biggest organization: Nintendo. I´d like if you explain about DC or Warner, I´ll love it; both could be awesome. This kind of video help me to practice english and learn about enterprises.
Would be nice to mention "R.O.B. the robot" which Nintendo released with the intention of portraying the Nintendo Entertainment System as a novel toy in order to alleviate retail fears following the North American video game crash of 1983
do some more research on the Virtual Boy, Gunpei wasnt "convinced it would be a hit", and the way you portray his death by getting "rekt" by a car is very disrespectful.
Firstly, I'm sorry if my portrayal of Gunpei's death has offended you. Secondly, you've got your quote wrong. It's "Hiroshi was convinced the Virtual Boy would work". This has a totally different meaning from what you've written, and it is factually correct.
oh man í remember the virtual boy! that was a good start for virtual reality headsets. however the game play was too weird by most people and the games for the system was too expensive for most folks to bother buying such type of video games until recently.
You have a good production and your videos are interesting, it's a shame that your target demographics is so small, but any way I have been on RUclips since the beginning and i can tell, your videos are amazing. This is my cocaine now, and I want more!!!!! (wink)
your voice sometimes kinda reminds me of the south park episode with "sodosopa", where the not-chinese-chinese guy is voicing his own ~fancy~ commercial. take that as you will, i don't mean it as a crit tho, just a funny aside lol
+Business Casual about weapon company in US. though i cant remember any names at the moment, im sure there are a couple giants. would be good to know their history
The way you end every sentence with the same tone is very unnatural, like you are just reading single sentences and pasted them together. Otherwise great video

android allow me to crush you
I was actually really excited throughout the video, It felt like an a movie with difficult start, lucky sequence of events leading to the optimistic present. Keep up the good work. Hyped for your next video.
And now there's the Nintendo Switch :D
And The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I really hope your channel gets millions and millions of viewers eventually, great content, great voice and good edition. I hope you really enjoy making this and won't stop anytime soon :)
And then the Nintendo switch was announced
Thanks for all the great work you do! It's really inspiring to see where companies started, and how they evolved to become the big businesses they are today.
Thanks BC
You do such a good job w/ these videos... You deserve so much more
Thank you for doing this video! I wasn't sure if you received my comments on your other videos. Great work!

I love your videos and would love one for IKEA!
I'd prefer another Swedish giant, Volvo A.K.A Tank
This channel is great! Deserves more subscribers.
Congrats to 5k subs. Also I think its good that you have no music in the background, you can focus more on the content. Also please do one Video about VW. Keep up your good work.
well done, I appreciate the work you put into editing this video.
"We're not even gonna increase our revenue forecasts, stop pumping up our stock..." lol XD
this is one of the best I have seen in RUclips great work
and now we sit here with the Switch, forever and again crowning Nintendo as king of video games
Great video! You should do a video about one of the "Banana Republic Companies" like Chiquita Banana or Dole.
Eren Kutluberk that is from Scott the woz isn’t it?
You always make incredibly entertaining and informative videos. Great work. I would love to hear about Sony since their story seems interesting as well. That was so fascinating and I'd never heard before that, that was why they named jump man Mario. A+ quality

Great video. Keep up the good work, i'm always looking forward to new videos from you.
Awesome videos man! I cant wait to see new ones :)

Great and informative video! Thanks for the info!

Great video! You've done Samsung, but about how a company like Hilton or Marriot?
We've actually not done Samsung yet!
Great video. I've subscribed. I'm interested in seeing the story about General Magic you mentioned in the Ebay video.
Great video, subbed. How has Nintendos market cap adjusted following the initial bubble? Any idea if they plan on doing an aggressive acquisition of Niantek?

It has come down from its ridiculous Pokemon-induced highs, but it's still up 40% from pre-launch.
An interesting one you could cover would be the transition between Time, Warner, and AOL to its current iteration.
Nintendo has a worthy competitor for this generation, I’m talking about the switch.
Ah, yes. The 🅱️intendo switch.
GREAT VIDEO
very interesting video. two thumbs up man.
Really good video.Btw, are you Polish ?
Hiya, I've finished all your videos now, they're great! As for a suggestion for the next company, what about Nokia? They're relatively unusual but very well known!
Cheers!
10:40 first female protagonist? What about Ms. Pac-man?
That was 🅱️intendo, don't get it mixed up
"rekt"
Disrespecting...
Nintendo (and segas) biggest problem was, they didnt switch to CD-Roms(and later dvds). Sega could have, but opted for their own special formatted cd-roms, which killed them.
It's like a computer is reading a list.
Awesome video! You should do Intel next!
You should added more about Shigeru miyamoto who created alot of Nintendo Iconic games even Developers see him as Legend
Wow...I've followed Nintendo all my life. this news was very informative. Thank you
The background on established brands really is quite interesting...
Alternate title: Nintendo: From Card Games to Kart Games
Rockstar would be great for many reasons: the GTA series, the Red Dead series, the controversy and history of LA Noire, and how they change the gaming industry (specifically the sandbox gaming platform)
you earned a subscriber
Hal Laboratory has one of my favorite logos of all time!
Great video, i really enjoyed it!
I thought you would focus a little bit more on the gaming side of it, like what pokemon sequals were released when
1:35 I like his hat
Rewatched the video and I've somehow missed that great conclusion lol. Prolly would be awesome if you update the situation with the Switch...
Greta video but, no background music this video?

"figure out how to overtake in the next round"
look by my side there's my Switch
I guess they delivered.
Good job!
great vid
The virtual boy was ahead of its time
Amazing story. This must have been a more difficult company to research.
You must try Jaguar & land rover next
Do one on ENRON next

i misheard that, you are correct.
You're correct on both points. VB was rushed to market. And I agree the "REKT!" thing is in piss-poor taste.
Yeah, it was very tacky and disrespectful. Gunpei Yokoi's death was premature and tragic.
You've never heard of the meme community.
oh man í remember the virtual boy! that was a good start for virtual reality headsets. however the game play was too weird by most people and the games for the system was too expensive for most folks to bother buying such type of video games until recently.
6:07 single-handedly XD
I wish you had made this video a few years later. The Nintendo Switch is a return to form for the company
I still have my original gameboy... including the Yellow colored Donkey Kong cartridge.
I had a virtual boy it was a awesome toy like vr space invaders shame it didn't take off
You have a good production and your videos are interesting, it's a shame that your target demographics is so small, but any way I have been on RUclips since the beginning and i can tell, your videos are amazing.

take that as you will, i don't mean it as a crit tho, just a funny aside lol
is it a good idea to buy a put option for Nintendo?
The Nintendo Switch has revolutionized gaming and transendes the barrier between home and portable console
just amazing
Nintendo DS hit me hard in the Childhood
If only they saw the switch now
+Business Casual
about weapon company in US. though i cant remember any names at the moment, im sure there are a couple giants. would be good to know their history
Well, five years later, Nintendo has more than pulled a 180... We need you to talk about it, please!
Do one on the Pokemon Company.
I got a Nintendo ad while I was watching this video
With these best-selling sales, this makes me think of the all-time best-selling PC game and its company: Minecraft and Mojang.
Wait... Who voiced this video? Is that Alex from LowSpecGamer?
Can you do one on ZIldjian
An Atari ST to represent 1995 technology? (11:53). It was released a decade earlier.
do a fashion brand next like louis vuitton or gucci
REKT 😂😂😂😂😂 anyways subscribed this channel is amazing! great work. you should do one on sony and a microsoft one.
Do Studio Trigger
Nintendo's long history= Mind blown...
Can't wait for the switch to come out
German companies like BMW, Daimler, VW, BASF, BAYER
There already did a video about BAYER.
The way you end every sentence with the same tone is very unnatural, like you are just reading single sentences and pasted them together. Otherwise great video
I gave up at 7:00
I didn’t notice it until you pointed it out 😂
11:23 Typo notice: Entertainemnt
