At the age of two, Oumou Sangaré is abandoned by her father. Her mother finds herself alone with the care of four children. However, the wheel turns when, at the age of five, the vocal talent of little Oumou is noticed. Very committed to the cause of women, this Malian artist is named FAO Goodwill Ambassador in 2003 and was awarded the Unesco Prize in 2001. She continues her feminist struggle through her new album Mogoya, meaning "human relations today", where she explores relationships. men and women. For this project, she called on the electro collective of French musicians ALBERT as well as the famous Nigerien jazz drummer, Tony Allen.
