    Had triple bypass 6 weeks ago. 71. My cardiac surgeon was wonderful as was the hospital. Recovering nicely. Out a day early. Was a big surprise as I walk every day (though running was a bit difficult, thought it was age)and keep weight down. Runs in family though. Found problem with stress echo after elevated CAC. Top heart hospital in my area and now I know why. You all are amazing!! Cardiac surgeons save so many lives. Thank you for being a cardiac surgeon to the people in your area.

    Thank you for sharing your busy lifestyle. What does the cold plunge do first thing in the morning? I did one years ago & it was invigorating but they are not something you see often. It’s great you love man’s best friend, they do so much for us!

    Good organization and discipline, Doc. I’m working on the sleep health too and my motivation mantra is: I want to see the sunrises (to reset my circadian rhythm and walk bare feet on the grass) and sunsets (to again catch the low-angled light). Doing gym and trying to be more organized like you. Lol!

    Isn't cold water plunging dangerous if you've had a heart attack?

    • @katherinekinnaird4408
      @katherinekinnaird4408 20 часов назад +2

      I deal with Afib. Not concerned that I will expir but I do all I can not to trigger that banging. So cold plunge is not in My arsenal. But exercise YES.

    I got that. The more I try to control my sleep issues the worse it works. Yes cool sleep trigger. I am Utilizing valerian route and Chamomile and magnesium in a tea , with raw ginger added and real cinnamon. I don't need a sleep- pap. Afib and age is mostly the wall . So not sure for the cold plunge but a bit of exercise daily is a feel good Element for my day to day. Thank you Doctor. Your videos help. God bless you , your family and medical staff.

    I swim here in Hawaii and love the ocean, but it is certainly not as cold as that plunge. The ocean alleviates my pain.

    👍Doc
    JESUS CHRIST THE CREATOR GIVES YOU A NEW HEART WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN HIM.
    He makes you a new creation.
    HE PAID THE HELL IN YOUR PLACE
    Submit to HIM while there is time.
    Only those who are changed by HIM will spend Eternity in Everlasting joy
    John 3:3
    - Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

    Respectfully, you look tired, sick, and burned out doc. Why not hang it up and live on your terms vs the hospitals? Culture has taught us we must work 3/4 of our life to enjoy maybe 10 good years of being able to get around on our own. Just my 2 cents. Enjoying your content.

    What do you do as soon as you get out of the cold water doc? Shower with warm water? I really would lie start doing that but I’m scared I’ll get a cold right away
